The newly renovated apartment is located in the modern interior of a traditional wooden house on the southern slope of the Zlatník area. It is located in a quiet part of the village of Zlatá Olešnica (Liberec Region) on the border of the Jizera Mountains and the Krkonoše Mountains.
The accommodation is especially suitable for families and guests who prefer an active holiday.

Thanks to its convenient location, it is an ideal starting point for skiing, hiking and cycling trips and allows easy access to several surrounding areas and interesting locations without long journeys. There is a swimming pool and a ski slope in the village. There is definitely no danger of boredom during a longer stay.

Privacy and peace: The log house is divided into two separate apartments. The neighboring apartment is used mainly on weekends, so you will have complete privacy for most of the week. The apartment is entered from a common hallway.

Smart layout: Shared experiences at the large table on the ground floor, relaxation on the comfortable couch by the fireplace and undisturbed sleep in two cozy bedrooms upstairs with ample storage space for your belongings.

Comfort and convenience: The entire ground floor is heated by underfloor heating, which is complemented by a crackling fireplace for true mountain romance.

Facilities for athletes: A professional dryer with warm air circulation dries up to 9 pairs of boots all year round, while your skis or bicycles rest in the safety of a lockable shelter. You can safely store your skis in the shared hallway. Bicycles or larger amounts of skis can be stored in a lockable shelter on the side of the wooden house.

Summer on the terrace: The spacious terrace with a view of the countryside and garden furniture is perfect for long summer evenings and barbecues.

PARKING:
The complex has a private parking lot, but without reserved spaces. If the complex is fully occupied, it is possible to use the public area in front of the entrance to the complex.

DESCRIPTION OF INDIVIDUAL ROOMS:
The apartment is cleverly divided into a social area on the ground floor and a quiet area on the first floor:

GROUND FLOOR: The heart of the apartment is a cozy living room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchenette, a dining table and a comfortable sofa. The ground floor also includes a renovated bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet. The advantage of the bathroom is a window that provides plenty of daylight and the possibility of easy ventilation. On the ground floor, you will be warmed by underfloor heating.

1ST FLOOR (TWO BEDROOMS):
Large bedroom (3–4 people): Offers comfortable sleeping on a double bed and a separate single bed, which can be used for two people thanks to a high-quality extra bed. Plenty of storage space for your belongings.
Smaller bedroom (1–2 people): Equipped with a 140 cm wide bed, which is ideal as a comfortable single bed or a cozy double bed (e.g. for children or a couple).

OUTDOOR TERRACE: During the summer, you can use the spacious terrace with a view of the countryside. Garden furniture and a grill are available.

APARTMENT EQUIPMENT:
Fully equipped kitchen & modern facilities Ceramic hob, electric and microwave oven, dishwasher and refrigerator. A Nespresso coffee machine is ready for the perfect start to the day. Dining table for 6 people and a cozy living area with internet TV.
Extra comfort for athletes: A professional electric dryer with warm air circulation is available all year round with a capacity for up to 9 pairs of shoes.
Outdoor terrace: During the summer, you can use the spacious terrace with a view of the countryside. Garden furniture and a grill are available.
Fireplace: You can achieve a romantic mountain atmosphere or increase thermal comfort by using a cast-iron fireplace.
Stable and fast WiFi connection is a matter of course throughout the property.
HEATING:
Pleasant warmth from your feet: The entire ground floor (living room and bathroom) is equipped with underfloor heating, which ensures a stable and comfortable temperature.
Romance by the fireplace: For a real mountain atmosphere, a fireplace stove is available. You can bring your own wood briquettes or conveniently purchase them directly on site from the caretaker.
Fast heating of bedrooms: The upper floor is equipped with powerful direct heaters that heat the rooms within a few minutes. However, if you heat with a stove, the heat naturally rises upwards and the bedroom usually does not need to be heated further.

CATERING OPTIONS:
The accommodation includes a kitchenette. If necessary, you can eat in a local restaurant (approx. 200m), which is not open daily. On the way, you will pass a shop with long opening hours and a basic assortment, which is nevertheless relatively well stocked.

☀️ Summer: Water and relaxation just a few steps away
Swimming pool (250 m): Just a few minutes walk from the apartment you will find a beautiful area with a swimming pool, beach volleyball court, children's playground and refreshments. Ideal for hot summer days.

Hiking and cycling: Right from the apartment door you can go for peaceful walks or mushroom picking in the surrounding forests. If you are looking for real mountain hiking, just drive a short distance and connect to the Krkonoše ridges (you should not miss the blueberry dumplings in Dvoračky).
Due to the mountain profile, we recommend cycling to more experienced riders or owners of electric bikes.

❄️ Winter: Skiing for everyone
Right on site (350 m): In good snow conditions you can use the local ski lift in Zlatá Olešnica - ideal for fast skiing without walking.

Ski slopes in the area (within 15 – 20 min):
For the demanding: Paseky nad Jizerou, Rokytnice nad Jizerou and Harrachov.
For families with children: Vysoké nad Jizerou or Příchovice (U Čápa).

Cross-country trails:
Our tip is the location around the Štěpánka lookout tower (Příchovice). In recent years, the trails have been groomed regularly and it is quieter here than on the Main Trail. The trails are playful and varied (we recommend lunch at the Hviezda chalet). From there, you can connect directly to the Jizerská Main Trail almost without taking off your skis.

Other popular places: The classic starts for the Jizerská Main Trail are Jizerka and Souš. The Polish Jakuszyce with its biathlon area and modern facilities, where you can try both racing and hiking trails, is a must.
