Cottage Cyrilovka offers accommodation in 6 attic rooms with private bathroom. On the ground floor there is a ski storage room, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining room with a TV and board games. You can relax in the sauna or by the fireplace in the basement lounge. WiFi is available throughout the building. In the exterior of the cottage Cyrilovka there is a garden fireplace and a terrace with seating. For children, there is a playground with a sandpit, slide and swings. It is possible to park at the building. In winter, snow chains are needed as access to the cottage is difficult. Alternatively, you can park in the car park a few meters from the cottage.
Cottage Cyrilovka offers accommodation in Kysucie, in the village Oščadnica. In winter, you will definitely enjoy skiing in the nearby ski resort Snow Paradise Veľká Rača. There is the possibility of hiking, biking, walking in the mountains or picking blueberries and mushrooms. There is also a bobsled run in Sun Paradise for children. In Oščadnica you will find the Dedovka lookout tower, a golf course, the Veľká Rača Bike Park or the Kysucká Gallery. 10 km from the village is the Slovak Astronomical Clock in Stará Bystrica. In the vicinity you will also find other attractions such as Skanzen Vychylovka, Lesná úvraťová railway or Korňanský oil spring.

The cottage is also suitable for families with children; everyone found something for themselves. The view of the mountains from the cottage is breathtaking, just beautiful. The silence there is indescribable. A huge plus is that every room has its own bathroom with a toilet. The only thing I would point out is that the road to the cottage is not passable for regular cars (if you don’t have 4x4). Unfortunately, this wasn’t mentioned in the description, and we decided to take that route. In the end, everything turned out fine; the owner helped us save the cars, and no one was hurt. The view and the silence were definitely worth the location. We recommend it and might come back someday.
Original (Slovak): Chata sa nachádza v nádhernom prostredí. Je plne vybavená, všetko, čo sme potrebovali tam bolo. Strávili sme tu príjemný čas s rodinou. Chata je vhodná aj pre rodiny s deťmi, každý si tu našiel to svoje. Výhľad z chaty na hory berie dych, jedna báseň. To ticho, ktoré tam vládlo je nepopísateľné. Obrovské plus je, že každá izba má svoju vlastnú kúpelňu s vc. Jediná vec, čo by som vytkla je, že cesta ku chate nie je prejazdná pre bežné autá (ak nemáte 4x4). Nebolo to žiaľ uvedené v popise a my sme sa na túto cestu vydali. Nakoniec všetko dopadlo dobre, majiteľ nám pomohol autá zachrániť a nikomu sa nič nestalo. Výhľad a ticho určite stáli za tú polohu, v ktorej sa nachádza. Odporúčame a možno sa niekedy vrátime.

But we do not hide this fact; the condition of the road is mentioned at least in every email, and in the end, we agreed that you would notify us before arrival since it had been rainy and the access was worsened. But you decided to go on your own. One of you managed it with a small problem, another without any problem, and one had to reverse back. But there was a 4x4 vehicle available, which we left at your disposal during your stay. :)
I hope you will visit us again, at least for that goulash because then I would order it myself.

Co sa tyka cesty, ano je to najsłabsia aj najsilnejsia stranka tej chaty. Aj kvoli nej je tam ten pokoj a ticho. Ale my tu skutocnost netajime, o stave cesty je minimalne v kazdom maily spominane a nakoniec boli sme dohodnuti, że date vediet pred prichodom, nakolko bolo dazdivo a ten pristup bol zhorseny. Ale rozhodli ste sa vyjst samostatne. Jeden z Vas to zvladol s małym problemom, dalsi bez problemu a jeden musel vycuvat spat. Ale bolo tam k dispozicii auto 4x4, ktore sme Vam nechali pocas pobytu k pouzivaniu. :)
Dufam ze nas opat navstivite, minimalne kvoli tomu gulasu, lebo ten by som si potom objednal.

We had tons of fun thanks to the spacious yard, gazebo with grill, playground, sauna, foosball table, and large common room with TV. The kitchen is adequate for six families, with two stoves and two large refrigerators, plus plenty of workspace, pots, and dishes. A huge advantage is that every room has its own bathroom. Everything was clean, and the cottage manager was flexible and helpful. The cottage is in a beautiful, quiet setting with stunning views and offers walks in the nearby forest. We were comfortable temperature-wise; the rooms and cottage were well equipped with everything one needs: a kettle for goulash and towels for all guests. There were two sleds available which we immediately used as it unexpectedly snowed on Easter. I would definitely recommend this cottage to my loved ones, and maybe we’ll return again in summer :)

Zažili sme kopec zábavy vďaka priestrannému dvoru, altánku s grilom, detskému ihrisku, saune, kalčetu, a velkej spoločenskej miestnosti s TV. Kuchyňa je postačujúca pre 6 rodín, dva sporáky a 2 velké chladničky, plus dostatok pracovnej plochy, hrncov, riadov... Obrovská výhoda že každá izba má vlastnú kúpeľňu. Všetko bolo čisté, spravovateľ chaty flexibilný a nápomocný. Chata je v krásnom tichom prostredí, s úžasným výhľadom, odkial je možno vyraziť aj na prechádzky do lesa. Nebolo nám zima, ani teplo, vybavenie izieb aj chaty bolo postačujúce, mali sme všetko čo človek potrebuje na chate: kotlík na guláš a čakali nás aj uteráky pre všetkých hostí. V chate boli dvojo sánok, ktoré sme hneď využili, kedže nám nečakane nasnežilo na Velkú Noc. Chatu by som určite odporučila svojim blízkym, a možno sa do nej ešte aj vrátime niekedy v lete :)

During the stay, we really lacked nothing except a few small bottles in the kitchen :), but we managed without them :) Perhaps a dishwasher would be useful for larger groups, but maybe that's just us being lazy :) After skiing, many of us really appreciated the use of the sauna. The fact that the cabin has a social zone on the ground floor and bedrooms upstairs is very convenient for larger groups when some want to relax and others still want to party, and no one disturbs anyone. The kitchen equipment was also sufficient, and we prepared goulash and cabbage soup on the outdoor fire pit. Sitting outside with a beautiful view is also a big plus of the cabin, although we did not use it much due to winter :) We all enjoyed the stay and rate it 10/10, and our four-legged friends ran around plenty in the area and give you 10 paws :)
A slightly icy road complicated our journey down, but we all managed safely :) Certainly not a reason why we wouldn't want to visit the cabin again :)
We mainly used the stay for skiing, ski touring, and other winter sports. It is definitely worth hiking to Veľká Rača, where in winter it looks truly magical.

Vybavenosť chaty a čistota bola taktiež na vynikajúcej úrovni a majitelia sú veľmi milí a ústretoví ľudia. Počas pobytu nám naozaj nič nechýbalo, okrem pár poldecákov v kuchyni :), ale poradili sme si aj bez toho :) Možno by sa pri väčších skupinách zišla aj umývačka riadu, ale možno sme len my pohodlní :) Po lyžovačke sme viacerí veľmi ocenili možnosť využitia sauny. To, že chata má riešenú spoločenskú zónu na prízemí a izby na poschodí, je taktiež veľmi výhodné pri väčších skupinách, keď niektorí už chcú oddychovať a niektorí sa ešte zabávať, a nikto nikoho neruší. Vo vybavení kuchyne nám tiež nič nechýbalo, na exteriérovom ohnisku sme si pripravili guláš aj kapustnicu. Sedenie vonku s krásnym výhľadom je tiež veľmi veľké pozitívum chaty, aj keď sme ho kvôli zime až tak nevyužili :) Pobyt sme si všetci užili a hodnotíme na 10/10, taktiež aj naši 4nohý kamaráti sa dosýta vybehali v okolí a dávajú Vám 10 labiek :)
Trošku primrznutá cesta nám skomplikovala, cestu dole, ale zvládli sme to všetci bez ujmy, :) Určite to nie je dôvod, prečo by sme chatu ešte nechceli navštíviť :)
Pobyt sme využili hlavne na lyžovanie, skialp a iné zimné športy. Určite stojí za to prejsť sa na Veľkú Raču, kde to v zime vyzerá naozaj rozprávkovo.

The cottage is spacious, well equipped, a big advantage for a large group like ours, a family with children, is that each room has its own bathroom! The environment is incredibly beautiful and enchanting, the beautiful chapel just a short walk from the cottage was magical and we really liked it! Even the neighbors were very sweet and kind, whatever we needed, whether flour or a bottle, they gladly helped :)

Regarding the cottage, you have posted that it is for 21 people. We were there as families with children and there were 18 of us. Why do I mention this number? The rooms are fine for the number of people, except for the mattresses. The kitchen in terms of equipment is a disaster. Old equipment (pots, plates, cutlery, and everything else) collected from who knows where, probably from some old cottages. As for the quantity of kitchen supplies, it is certainly not adapted even for 18 people, let alone 21. Not to mention, the kitchen was dirty, including everything inside. We had accommodation arranged and paid for 5 days over Christmas, but we left on the fourth day. Reason: the cottage was not heated, not even on the day of arrival, it was cold, in the back rooms the wind blew through the windows, so they couldn't be properly heated, it was windy and snowing. The curtains were blown around in the rooms, so we had to put carpets on the window sills to somewhat hold them in place. The heating and hot water did not work at all. We managed to shower the children once in the four days with a bit of water. When we contacted the host about the problem, he came immediately and tried to fix it, but it was on the third day of the stay. I recommend the owners of this facility completely replace the kitchen equipment, which today is not a big expense. Throw away everything from the kitchen counters into the trash. Thank you.

Dobrý deň, chcela by som reagovať na náš Vianočný pobyt na tejto chate. Musím povedať, že príroda okolo je nádherná. Čo sa týka chaty, máte uverejnené, že chata je pre počet ľudí 21. My sme tam boli ako rodiny s deťmi a bolo nás 18. Prečo píšem toto číslo? Izby na počet ľudí v pohode. Až na tie matrace. Kuchyňa čo sa týka vybavenia je jedna katastrofa. Staré vybavenie (hrnce, taniere, príbory a všetko ostatné) zozbierané neviem odkiaľ, asi z nejakých starých chát. Čo sa týka počtu resp. množstva kuchynských potrieb; určite to nie je prispôsobené ani na 18 ľudí a už vôbec nie na 21. Nehovorím o tom, že kuchyňa bola špinavá, vrátane všetkého, čo tam bolo. Mali sme zabezpečené a zaplatené ubytovanie v rámci Vianoc na 5 dní, na štvrtý deň sme odišli. Dôvod; chata nebola vykúrená, ani v deň príchodu, bola tam zima, v zadných izbách prefukuje cez okná, takže sa nedali riadne vykúriť, fúkal vietor a snežilo. Závesy v izbách podfukovalo, museli sme tam dať koberce na parapetu, aby to, ako tak držalo. Kúrenie ani teplá voda vôbec nefungovalo. Osprchovať aspoň deti v troche vody sa podarilo raz za tie 4 dni. Keď sme kontaktovali pána, že to nefunguje, hneď prišiel a snažil sa odstrániť tento nedostatok, ale bolo to na tretí deň pobytu. Odporúčam majiteľom tohto zariadenia, aby si vymenili komplet zariadenie kuchyne, čo dnes nie je veľká položka. Všetko z kuchynskej linke vyhodili do smetného koša. Ďakujem

The beds are wooden with standard mattresses; this is a cottage, not a hotel, so the equipment corresponds. The kitchen was renovated about a year ago. Yes, the pots and plates aren't new; as I said, it's a cottage, but there are enough of them. It's a pity they didn't call us; it wouldn't have been a problem to tell them where the extra spoons are... They are in another "drawer" in the work desk. Regarding the dirty kitchen, I find it somewhat exaggerated because it was certainly cleaned, by my daughter and daughter-in-law, so they surely took care. It's unfortunate. We regret the bad impressions from such a stay because Christmas is a holiday when people want peace with loved ones, not stress. I believe when I was on site, I did everything to improve the situation: the group got additional bags of wood for the fireplace and sauna, which are usually paid for, and a compensation offer in the form of a cheap weekend. Most reviews of our facility are highly positive, so I'm surprised that after a critical SMS review, which the guests said they would not put on HAUZI, they decided to "spice it up"—excuse the expression, but it is appropriate. If they had accepted our offer/compensation and came in summer (no heating risk), checked the equipment, and found no changes from their view, I would refund them and avoid such lengthy defensive writing. They acted as they did. Interestingly, the male part, with whom I communicated more personally, did not criticize anything, and the lady who presumably spent the most time in the kitchen only told me on December 25 about problems with heat and hot water and nothing else. It's hard to confront the current state of the kitchen now. I wish our guests recreational facilities where they will be satisfied in the future. Ospravedlnil som sa a ponukol hostom lestny vikend za minimalnu cenu bez ohladu na pocet ludi. Pre informaciu, uzitkova voda sa tiez nahrieva z kotla, ale po tejto prihode so ju zapol aj na EE, aby sa nahrievala z dvoch zdojov sucasne. Bojlery su 2x200l a nikdy tepla voda nechybala. Neviem co ma pani na mysli ohladom madracov. Lozka su drevene, madrace klasicke, je to chata a nie hotel, takze vybavenie tomu zodpoveda. Kuchyna je vynovena cca rok spatne. Ano nie su tam nove hrnce, taniere, atd, ako pisem to je chata, ale je ich dostatok. Skoda, ze nam nezavolali, nebol by problem povedat, kde su dalsie lyzicky, ... Proste su v dalsom "sufliku" v pracovnom stole. A co sa tyka spinavel kuchyne, tak sa mi to zda nejak prehnane, pretoze bola urcite upratovana a to moja dcerou a nevestou, takze urcite si dali zalezat. Skoda, ze sa tak stalo, mrzi nas zle dojmy z takeho pobytu, nakolko Vianoce su Sviatkom kde clovek chce mat pohodu v kruhu najblizsich a nie stres. Myslim, ze ked som bol na mieste, tak som spravil vsetko, aby sa situacia zlepsila, skupina dostala dalsie vrecia dreva do krbu a sauny, za co sa normalne plati a taku kompenzaciu v ponuke lacneho vikendu. Vacsina ohodnoteni naseho zariadenia su vysoko pozitivne, tak ma udivuje, ze po kritickej sprave SMS, ktoru nam hostia poslali po pobyte, s tym, ze to nebudu davat na HAUZI, rozhodli sa nam to "osolit" \pardon za vyraz, ale je adekvatny\.
