Chata Jimbo Snowland Romantic Cottage with Sauna in Valča

Translated: Everything was great, we really liked it there. Quiet location and the kids had fun. It was just a 2-minute drive to Yetiland. We found everything we needed there, a big bonus was the air conditioning 😁, grill, and fire pit. Maybe it would be helpful to have at least some dresser to store clothes upstairs because we always had them in the suitcase, but it was manageable.

Translated: The property owner was very pleasant, even if only on the phone. Very nice of him to provide sleds and a child’s chair 😉.\n\nThere was little kitchenware. If there is a lot of snow, it’s difficult to get to the resort on foot outside the main road.\n\nIf you plan a winter holiday, expect to have to drive to the resort.

Translated: Beautiful spacious, very clean, new accommodation. Nicely stylishly furnished with a fireplace, infrared sauna, coffee maker, oven. We had everything we needed... Ski resort is really close... Slope, Hotel Impozant with pool and jacuzzi..., in the tavern under Hrádok in the village Valča they make great pizza! :) The town Martin is really nearby...

Translated: Very good location, calm surroundings so far. Great but unused potential.\n\nThe house is not completely finished, there were various defects everywhere. The worst is the bathroom where the boiler makes a loud noise every time water is used. It could be heard throughout the house. There's a TV but no antenna, no satellite connected. Only YouTube via internet. No bedside tables or lamps in the rooms. We charged our phones on the floor beside the beds. We were surprised that upon arrival the owner told us that he does not provide towels or bath towels. So on the first day, we had to run to Martin to buy some towels. Everything would have been okay if the owner had informed us in advance. Also minor things like liquid soap, dishwashing detergent, toilet paper, and similar items that are standard in other places of this type - don't expect them here... Quite shamefully, empty containers for soap and dish detergent were left on the sinks. We could have overlooked these shortcomings if the surroundings had been somewhat maintained. It was roughly mowed, but the grass was rotting between clumps that children kept tripping over. The plot from the "completion" of the construction was untouched, full of dirt, dust, and a lot of stones. We don't need an English manicured lawn but at least raking the grass and removing stones would improve it significantly. As a bonus, the water in the house smelled and was clearly not suitable for drinking. Therefore, even for simple tea and coffee, we had to buy bottled water.\n\nYetiland for children, Snowland in winter.\n\nBlatnica Castle + Gader Valley, Martinské Hole, Jasenská Valley, Turčianske Teplice.
