Chata Karolínka

Amazing environment, nature, and great relaxation for families with children and groups alike. All this is offered by Chata Karolínka, located in the beautiful nature of northern Slovakia, right in the village of Oravská Lesná.

Chata Karolínka is rented as a whole with a total capacity of 12 beds, including 10 fixed beds and 2 extra beds. On the ground floor, there are communal spaces including a lounge with a fireplace, SMART TV, board games, and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen includes a gas stove, microwave, fridge-freezer, oven, dishwasher, and electric kettle.

The attic is for sleeping and offers four bedrooms with a total capacity of 10 fixed beds and 2 extra beds. There are two double bedrooms, each with two separate beds and a sofa bed for one person. In the double room, a baby crib can be provided upon request. For added comfort, one double room is also equipped with a small Smart TV, allowing guests to enjoy their favorite movies or series in privacy. The other two triple rooms have three separate beds each.

The bathroom on the upper floor has a shower cabin, sink, mirror, and toilet. The bathroom on the lower floor has a second shower cabin, sink, mirror, and a washing machine as a bonus. The toilet on the lower floor is separate. Free WiFi is available throughout the property.

The cottage features a terrace and a gazebo with seating and options for roasting and grilling. So don’t forget to bring bacon, sausages, or meat for a kettle goulash. The cauldron can be found in the cellar. Apart from enjoying great food, you can sunbathe, breathe fresh mountain air, play board games, or just relax and chat.

Even bad weather won’t catch you off guard here. The rental includes a heated gazebo (49 m²), usable all year round, offering a pleasant space to relax and spend time together in any weather. Inside, there is a kitchenette, fireplace, comfortable seating, a large-screen TV, and darts, making the gazebo perfect for evening gatherings, family celebrations, or entertainment with friends.

For even greater relaxation, guests can use the wellness zone with a heated soaking tub and sauna for a fee, ideal for leisure throughout the year. Meanwhile, your little ones can have fun on the playground with climbing frames, sandbox, swings, or the children's corner with toys. Bicycles and skis can be safely stored in the cellar, and parking is available for 5 cars close to the property.

The cottage is ideal for year-round vacations. In summer, enjoy romantic walks, picking wild fruits and mushrooms, hiking, cycling, splashing in the Orava reservoir, and visiting local attractions. Nearby sights include the Oravská Lesná Forest Railway (5 minutes on foot), Funny Park Oravská Lesná (5 minutes on foot), an observation tower in Zákamenné, and the Slovak Astronomical Clock.

Winter sports enthusiasts will also be pleased. Nearby are ORAVA SNOW – Ski Oravská Lesná (3 minutes by car), Krušetnica Ski Center (20 minutes by car), Ski Zábava in Hruštín, and other ski resorts.

Chata Karolínka is nestled by the forest in the beautiful surroundings of Orava nature on the edge of Oravská Lesná.
