The cottage for 9 people welcomes you all year round. The ground floor of the cottage is wheelchair accessible. Here you will find a common room with a fireplace stove and a sofa that serves as an extra bed for 2 people. There is also a dining table, smart TV, satellite, and radio. Of course, a fully equipped kitchenette is available, with an electric stove and oven, electric kettle, coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator. On the ground floor is also a double room with tiled stove and a double bed. There is a bathroom with a bathtub and toilet. Upstairs you will find a double and a triple room. Chata Snow is located in the recreational area of Donovaly village, in the mountains of the Low Tatras. You will find us under the forest, only 150 m from the Nová Hoľa chairlift. From this chairlift, you can ski directly down to our cottage. Donovaly is popular year round. In winter, you will enjoy 12 km of groomed ski trails as well as 17 cross-country skiing tracks. Attractions for children include the fairy tale village Habakuky, the children’s town Donovalkovo, Fun Park with a bobsleigh track, rope center, climbing wall, and trampoline. A bike park has recently opened in Donovaly for both experienced and beginner riders.
In Banská Bystrica, you will find interesting historical landmarks including the Museum of the Slovak National Uprising or the SNP Memorial.
