Cottage Veverica is located in the Dolná Lehota - Krpáčovo recreational area by the ski lift, in the forest and by the lake. The cottage accommodates 15 people (including 4 extra beds) in 5 bedrooms (2 bathrooms, 2 toilets). Accommodation is available only for you. Staying with a small dog is allowed for a fee. A sauna is available. Outside there is a gazebo, cauldron, terrace, garden swing, outdoor fireplace, grill, fire pit and outdoor seating. The area also offers opportunities for various trips in case of adverse weather, whether to Ľupča Castle or a visit to Bystrianská Cave. However, there is no bad weather, only poorly dressed tourists :-)
What activities do you recommend to your guests around the cottage?
For those who enjoy spending time outdoors, the cottage offers conditions for hiking, fishing, mountain biking, golfing, rafting, horseback riding, and much more. For winter sports enthusiasts, skiing and sledding are, of course, available. In the vicinity of Krpáčovo, you can walk the Bear Path Educational Trail or the Sam Chalupka Educational Trail. Not far from Krpáčovo, you will also find the entrance to the beautiful Vajskovská Valley, which is one of the longest and most beautiful valleys in Horehronie. You will be enchanted by its pristine nature and beautiful scenery. In the valley, you will also find Vajskovský Waterfall, which you should not miss during your walks in Krpáčovo.

What activities do you recommend for children around the cottage?
For the youngest visitors, a children's outdoor playground, toys, and a balance bike are available for use outdoors. Nearby the cottage, you will find the Hydro Hotel, which has a beautiful outdoor playground also for buffet guests. By agreement with the manager, it is possible to reserve an outdoor volleyball court. Within a 30-minute drive, you’ll find facilities in the village of Osrblie, which serves cross-country skiers during the winter months and cyclists and scooter riders during the other months. In less than 15 minutes from the Veverica cottage, you are in the valley of the Hron River. Rafting on the Hron River provides an all-day adventure even for families with children and a fantastic experience. The cottage is an excellent starting point for planning various trips around the Low Tatras, such as trying the Čiernohronská Railway, visiting the Vydrovo Open-Air Museum, the Cave of Dead Bats, or the viewing tower Horné Lazy above Breznica.

Krpáčovo Lake is approximately a 15-minute walk from the cottage. About a 15-minute drive away in the village of Bystrá is a wellness hotel, Bytrá.
How far is the NAZOVUBOTOVANIA from the ski slope?
The Krpáčovo Ski Resort is less than 400 meters from the cottage, which can be reached on foot. The ski resorts of Tále, Mýto pod Ďumbierom, and Chopok-Juh are approximately a 20-30 minute drive away. For the youngest visitors to the cottage, sleds, snow tubes, and sliders are available.
How does it work when checking in?
A few days before the arrival date, guests will receive instructions and contact information for the manager, who will be waiting for guests at the cottage at the agreed time. On the day of arrival, guests will be contacted directly by the manager by phone to confirm their arrival time. Upon arrival, a cash deposit of 200 euros is required, along with any other fees if not already paid in advance.

The direct access road to the cottage is gravel and approximately 500 m long, so it is important to adjust your driving according to the road's condition. In the winter months, snow chains are required. The road is maintained during the winter months.
