Drevenica Jelenec Traditional Wooden Cottage in Staré Hory

Romantic accommodation in the beautiful surroundings of the village of Staré Hory offers the Jelenec Lodge, perfect for spending quality time together, whether in summer or winter. The interior features exquisite decorations, especially hand-painted paintings that create a cozy, homey atmosphere. The lodge comfortably accommodates 6 guests. You will find a double bed and a single bed in the bedroom, while two additional single beds are situated in the living room right by the fireplace, with the option of a sofa bed for one more guest. A television with satellite channels is also available, along with board games for fun moments with your loved ones. In the kitchenette, you will find beautiful kitchenware, a refrigerator with a freezer, an electric stove, a microwave, and a kettle, allowing you to set your prepared meals on the dining table with seating. There is also a modern bathroom equipped with a shower, sink, and toilet. Bed linen, towels, firewood for the fireplace, and wifi access are provided. During the summer months, you can enjoy a fire pit with seating, and there is a stream flowing through the property. Parking is available for 2 cars right next to the lodge.

The mountain village of Staré Hory in the Banská Bystrica district is known as a Marian pilgrimage site, where people gather from various parts of Slovakia. Thanks to its significant mining history, there is a mining educational trail with 10 stops and informative boards, which will interest both hiking enthusiasts and cyclists. In the background of the village, you can see the mountain ranges of the Veľká Fatra and the Low Tatras, creating a network of hiking trails. In winter, both recreational and professional skiers can enjoy themselves thanks to the Šachtičky ski resort and the somewhat distant Ski Turecká resort.
