It was furnished with old furniture, blinds only on one window and not functional, missing on the patio doors, only a transparent curtain could be drawn, the showerhead not working, bathroom door wouldn’t close properly, one toilet paper roll for the entire stay unless you asked for more, one towel per person and bed linen, one hand soap. Breakfasts were varied but not always fresh. I feel much of it was served again from the previous day. If you want to use the saunas, you have to turn them on yourself. The pool was fine. So overall, the staff was kind, location good, accommodation poor. They were renovating the neighboring room, so hopefully mine will also get renovated. The cat with her little ones was waiting for her share. So it felt quite 'homey' for this pension.

Raňajky síce pestré, ale nie vždy čerstvé. Mám pocit, že mnohé bolo opäť podávané z predchádzajúceho dňa . Sauny keď chcete využiť, musíte si ich spojazdniť. Bazén fajn. Čiže celkové hodnotenie na personál milý,poloha fajn, ubytovanie zlé. Ale vedľa izbu prerábali, tak snáď prejde aj tá ,,moja ,, prerábkou. Mačka so svojími malými čakajúca, kedy dostane podiel. Čiže je taká,, domáca,, tohto penziónu.

After reading the reviews, we were prepared that luxury was not to be expected, we even considered canceling the booking, but since we couldn't find other accommodation quickly, we decided to take the risk. I must say, we expected a bigger disaster, although it wasn't good by any means. Outside, the guesthouse appears quite nice, the parking lot is spacious enough. The tennis court/playground is dilapidated and out of service, the swing broken. We were welcomed by a pleasant gentleman at reception, but after a few hours, it became clear that he was the only staff member (besides two ladies cleaning rooms after guests left), so we named him “Mr. Staff.” We did not see anyone else during our 6-day stay. Mr. Staff greeted guests, showed us around, served breakfast and dinners, changed towels, replenished toilet paper in the rooms, and we even suspected he cooked for us, but he assured us he could not cook at all—if he could, perhaps they'd let him cook. Maybe the food would even be decent then, but we'll get to that later. Mr. Staff really tries, that's undeniable, but he simply cannot manage all alone. It's evident everywhere you look. The dining room was incredibly dirty, dust and cobwebs everywhere, tablecloths unwashed for a week, dirty.
As for the rooms, they are sufficiently furnished, but the furniture is worn, bedsheets had holes, but the bedding was clean; basically, there was nothing to complain about the rooms since we spent little time there and mostly only slept. We had air conditioning in the room, which was a bit slow and made strange noises but worked. The room also had a tiny fridge which was nice and TV with several Slovak channels.
I would highlight the pool which, for me, saved this stay. We could swim whenever during the stay, water was clean and warm. The guesthouse also offers Finnish and infrared saunas. We never used the Finnish sauna because you had to book it at least half an hour in advance from Mr. Staff and wait for it to heat up. We used the infrared sauna once; we switched it on ourselves and turned it off after, so no wait was necessary.
The biggest downside for us was the food. For the entire six days, we had half board. Breakfast would not have been so bad if the butter was butter and not the cheapest margarine, if the milk was milk and not milk water, if the jam was jam and not jam mixed with water, if the coffee was coffee and not some disgusting thing barely resembling coffee, if the juice was juice and not water with cheap low-calorie syrup with artificial sweeteners. Also, sliced poppy seed roll, nut roll, braided bread which you only got if you arrived among the first. Then some pâté, bananas, apples, a few nectarines that disappeared after five minutes, cheapest yogurts, flakes, and the cheapest cereals. Day by day, there was less and less, by the end of our stay there was neither pâté, jam, poppy seed roll, nor nut roll on the table. Vegetables were almost nonexistent during the stay. For meals, one could still choose between scrambled eggs, sausage, and cold cuts. The sausages were literally inedible, the cold cuts plate had two slices of ham, three slices of diet salami, three slices of some dry salami, two slices of cheese I wouldn't even call cheese, and the vegetables were one slice of cucumber, one wedge of tomato, and a piece of pepper.
I really can't understand why the guesthouse chases customers away with such food. Dinners were another horror with over-salted bouillon soup with added frozen vegetables, meat spiced with goulash seasoning plus the cheapest pasta. Pudding cooked in water, maybe a bit of milk, with lumps, the rest was edible and bearable. People with gallbladder issues should be forbidden entry to that dining room. The first two days we could choose between two meals; the rest of the stay only one meal was offered.
During breakfast and dinner, a cat kept company, which didn’t bother us as we have a cat at home, but I think animals don’t belong in the dining room, especially since it can really bother some people when it starts licking its behind in front of you or brings a caught mouse and starts eating it in the middle of the dining room.
I have mixed feelings about this place and it’s a huge shame they don’t use the good potential they have. I feel the owner, given the good location near the thermal baths, doesn’t worry at all about complaints. There are always people like us wanting to visit the Corvinus thermal swimming pool and can’t find other accommodation nearby, on which the owner seems to rely. Truly a big shame.
Original (Slovak): V tomto penzióne sme boli ubytovaní prvý a myslím, že aj posledný krát. Po prečítaní recenzií sme boli pripravení, že luxus nás určite nečaká, dokonca sme zvažovali storno objednávky, no nakoľko sa nám nepodarilo zohnať narýchlo iné ubytovanie, rozhodli sme sa risknúť to. . Musím napísať, čakali sme väčšiu katastrofu, aj keď dobré to ani zďaleka nebolo. Zvonku pôsobí penzión celkom príjemne, parkovisko dostatočne veľké. Tenisový kurt/ ihrisko chátrajúce- mimo prevádzky, hojdačka polámaná. Privítal nás príjemný pán recepčný, po pár hodinách sa ale ukázalo, že pán recepčný je jediný pracovník ( okrem dvoch slečien, ktoré upratovali izbu po odchode hostí) v penzióne, teda sme ho nazvali "pán Personál". Za 6 dní nášho pobytu sme nikoho iného nevideli. Pán Personál vítal hostí, oboznamoval nás s prostredím, obsluhoval na raňajkách, nosil večere, menil uteráky, dopĺňal toaletný papier na izbách, dokonca sme mali podozrenie, že nám aj varí, no ubezpečil nás, že variť vôbec nevie, ak by vedel, možno by ho nechali aj variť. A možno by to jedlo aj za niečo stálo, no k tomu sa ešte vrátim. Pán Personál sa naozaj snaží, to mu nemôžeme poprieť, no na to všetko sám jednoducho nestačí. Vidieť a cítiť to všade, kde sa človek pozrie. Jedáleň neuveriteľne špinavá, všade prach a pavučiny, obrusy týždeň nemenené, špinavé.
Čo sa izieb týka, sú zariadené dostačujúco, no nábytok už má niečo za sebou, prestieradlo deravé, ale posteľné prádlo bolo čisté, v podstate čo sa týka izby nemám čo vytknúť, dalo sa to vydržať, nakoľko sme tam trávili len málo času a väčšinou len prespali noc. Na izbe sme mali aj klímu, ktorá bola síce trochu pomalšia a vydávala prapodivné zvuky, no poslúžila. Súčasťou zariadenia izby bola aj miniatúrna chladnička, ktorá potešila a TV s viacerými aj slovenskými programami.
Vyzdvihla by som bazén, ktorý aspoň pre mňa tento pobyt zachránil. Zaplávať v ňom sme si mohli kedykoľvek počas pobytu, voda bola vždy čistá a teplá. Penzión ponúka tiež fínsku a infra saunu. Fínsku saunu sme nevyužili ani raz, nakoľko si ju trebalo vopred aspoň pol hodiny objednať u pána Personála a čakať, kým ju pripraví a nahreje. V infra saune sme boli raz, nakoľko sme si ju zapli sami a po odchode vypli, nebolo potrebné čakať.
Ako najväčšie mínus počas nášho pobytu sme ale vnímali stravu. Počas celých šiestich dní pobytu sme mali polpenziu. Raňajky by neboli tak hrozné, keby maslo bolo maslo a nie najlacnejší margarín, keby mlieko bolo mlieko a nie voda s mliekom, keby džem bol džem a nie voda zmiešaná s džemom, keby káva bola káva a nie niečo odporné, čo sa na kávu len podobalo, keby džús bol džús a nie voda s lacným nízkokalorickým sirupom s umelými sladidlami. Okrem toho nakrájaný makovník, orechovník, vianočka, ktoré ste stihli len ak ste prišli medzi prvými. Ďalej akási paštéta, banány, jablká, pár nektáriniek, ktoré po piatich minútach zmizli, najlacnejšie jogurty, vločky a najlacnejšie cereálie. Každým dňom toho bolo menej a menej, ku koncu nášho pobytu nebola na stole ani paštéta ani džem, ani makovník a orechovník. Za celý pobyt zelenina takmer žiadna. Na výber mal ešte každý stravník z praženice, párok a studenej mise. Párky doslova nepožívateľné, studená misa bol tanier s dvoma plátkami šunky, troma plátkami diétnej salámy, troma plátkami nejakej suchej salámy, k tomu dva plátky syra, ktoré by som syrom ani nenazvala a zelenina-1 plátok uhorky, jeden mesiačik paradajky a jeden kúsoček papriky.
Naozaj nedokážem pochopiť, prečo si tento penzión takouto stravou odháňa zákazníkov. Večere ďalšia hrôza v podobe presolenej polievky z bujónu a pridanej mrazenej zeleniny, mäso zasypané gulášovým korením plus najlacnejšie cestoviny. Puding uvarený vo vode možno s trochou mlieka k tomu hrudky, ostatné sa dalo zjesť a nejako prežiť. Ľuďom s problémami so žlčníkom by som zakázala vstup do tejto jedálne. Prvé dva dni sme mali možnosť výberu z dvoch jedál, zvyšok pobytu už len jedno jedlo.
Pri raňajkách a večeri vám robí spoločnosť mačička, ktorá nám síce nevadila, keďže máme mačku aj doma, ale myslím, že do jedálne zvieratá nepatria, hlavne niektorým ľuďom naozaj môže vadiť keď si pred vami začne oblizovať zadok, alebo dokonca si prinesie ulovenú myš a začne ju konzumovať uprostred jedálne.
Z tohto zariadenia mám veľmi zmiešané pocity a je veľká škoda, že podnik nevyužíva dobrý potenciál, ktorý má. Mám pocit, že majiteľka vzhľadom k dobrej polohe penziónu sa sťažnosťami vôbec netrápi. Vždy sa totiž nájdu ľudia, ktorí presne ako my, chcú navštíviť termálne kúpalisko Corvinus a nezoženú iné ubytovanie v blízkosti termálov, na čo sa pani majiteľka zrejme spolieha. Naozaj veľká škoda.

This could be tolerated, but in the "dining room" (which is a grand name for this space) there was dirt, dust, cobwebs everywhere, and the peak was a cat running around with a mouse in its mouth, sitting right in the middle, feasting. Although we are not demanding guests, we don’t need comfort and didn’t expect it, cleanliness and hygiene should be maintained. I think a hygienic inspection should close this guesthouse, at least the kitchen and dining room. For me, never again such a facility.

Nevyhovujúce postele - matrace, čistota a hygiena veĺmi biedna, dvojizbovy "apartmán" - izba a z predsiene urobená druhá izba, bez jedinej stoličky ci stolíka. Klíma nonstop pustenná - hlučná a regulovateĺná len centrálne. Strava - najlacnejšie polotovary aké sú na trhu, zelenina takmer nič. To by sa vsak dalo tolerovať, no v "jedálni" (čo podotýkam je honosný názov pre tento priestor) bola špina, prach, pavučiny všade a vrcholom je pobehujuca mačka s myšou v papuli, ktora sa v strede usadila a hostila sa. Napriek tomu, že nie sme naročná rodina, nepotrebujeme konfort a ani sme ho nečakali, čistota a hygiena by mala byť. Myslím, že kontrola zo strany hygienikov by tento penzión musels zatvorit, minimalne kuchyňu a jedáleň. Za mňa teda - nikdy viac taketo zariadenie.

V tomto ubytovaní sa mi nič nepáčilo, nakoľko objednala som si apartmán dostali sme iba izbu pre 3 dospelých a 2 deti, večer v čase 16:30bolo dohodnuty nástup na ubytovanie a izba nebola nachystana ani upratana, ochota personálu žiadna! A raňajky nie su švédske stoly ako sú písané, ale dostane len chleba, jogurt a vločky a na výber vám iba dajú parky, praženicu alebo studený tanier( úplná hrúza)každý deň ta istá ponúka, za cenu 6 eur na osobu to vôbec nie je hodne. Pani majiteľka, zarába iba na zákazníkoch! Toto zariadenie neodporúčam!!!! Za tu cenu nedostanete nič ani poriadnu izbu ani stravu.
