Our accommodation is exceptional for its comfort and facilities, offering guests everything they need under one roof. You don’t have to travel anywhere or plan complicatedly. Within the building, there is a restaurant serving real cuisine where you can recharge after a full day. You will find a grocery store directly in the building for quick shopping, and if interested, you can also use cosmetic and hairdressing services available on-site. You can park your car safely and free of charge right at the pension, and there is a gas station very close by. We are an ideal place for both family vacations and strategic stops on your journey.

Relax right inside the building: Brighten your day with a visit to the cosmetics or hairdressing salon directly in the building or by relaxing in our restaurant.

Děčín Castle and Aquapark (about 25 km): Tour the monumental castle with a guide and then relax in the indoor pool with thermal water.

Königstein Fortress in Germany (about 23 km): The massive rock fortress just across the border offers extensive covered exhibitions and a historical underground.

Culture and shopping in Dresden (about 47 km): You can quickly reach the Saxon capital via the highway, where world-famous galleries (Zwinger), museums, and large shopping centers await you.

Our location on the border of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and the Ore Mountains offers excellent activities for tourists, cyclists, and families with children all year round:

Rock cities and views: Just a short distance away are the famous Tisá Walls – a breathtaking labyrinth of sandstone rocks loved by both adults and children. You should not miss Děčínský Sněžník, our highest table mountain, with a beautiful stone lookout tower offering views across the surroundings.

Cycling and cross-country skiing: You can connect to cycling routes and ridge trails directly from the village. In winter, the Ore Mountains trail runs nearby, offering kilometers of perfectly maintained cross-country skiing tracks. You can enjoy downhill skiing at the nearby Zadní Telnice resort.

Trips to Germany (Saxony): Thanks to the proximity to the border and fast motorway access, you can quickly explore the beauties of neighboring Saxony. We recommend visiting the monumental Königstein rock fortress, the famous Bastei rock bridge, or going on a cultural and shopping trip to Dresden (about 35 minutes by car).

Tisá Walls rock maze (about 6 km): A natural labyrinth with sandstone towers and narrow passages, perfect for kids playing hide and seek. Scenes from the Chronicles of Narnia were filmed here, which makes it a great attraction for older children.

Děčín Zoo and Paradise Islands (about 18 km): A beautiful zoo set in a forest park. It offers a great playground for kids, a petting zoo, and in the city center, the Paradise Islands exhibit with huge aquariums.
Děčín Aquapark (about 20 km): An ideal place for kids to burn off energy (even when it’s raining). It features water slides, a lazy river, and children’s pools.

Königstein Fortress in Germany (about 25 km): An outing to a huge rock castle just across the border. A modern panoramic elevator takes children up, and there are interactive exhibits and secret passages to explore.

Zadní Telnice ski resort (about 15 km): An ideal spot for skiing in winter. There is a ski lift, rope tow, and ski school available for children. Sledding and tobogganing can, of course, also be enjoyed on the hills directly in Petrovice.

Natural swimming – Stříbrný Pond (a beautiful forest swimming area in Petrovice): It is located directly within the municipality and is about 6 km (approximately 8 minutes by car) from you.

Indoor swimming and family fun – Děčín Aquapark: For year-round swimming with slides and attractions, it is about 25 km away by car (approx. 30 minutes drive).

The nearest ski slopes are located at the Zadní Telnice ski area, which is about 14 to 15 km by car from Pension ORION (approximately 15–20 minutes by car, depending on snow conditions on the road).

To make your arrival as convenient as possible, we offer two options for picking up your keys depending on your arrival time:

Arrival during restaurant opening hours (until 9:00 PM): We will gladly hand over your room keys directly at the reception in our restaurant, where we will complete all formalities and the receptionist will then accompany you to your room.

If you arrive later, no problem. The keys will be waiting for you in a secure self-service box with a combination lock. We will send you the code to the box and instructions in advance.

We offer you two convenient options to pay for your stay:

Online in advance: You can easily and securely pay online by credit card directly through the reservation pages when creating your booking.

Upon arrival: If you prefer to pay on-site, you can pay for accommodation in cash at the reception in the restaurant during your check-in (until 9:00 PM).

Yes, you can easily reach our pension by car in any weather.

Pension ORION is located right on the main road in Petrovice, which is maintained all year round. There is no need to worry about unreliable field or forest paths. Even in heavy rain or winter snow, the access is completely safe and comfortable.

Moreover, you can park your car on our own free parking lot right at the building, so you only have a few steps with your luggage to the accommodation.
