The charming Škerda cottage is nestled in a quiet location by the gurgling Studeny brook and offers a fantastic view of the impressive Roháče. It consists of 8 newly renovated apartments that combine an authentic atmosphere of countryside and nature with first-class comfort. Both one-room apartments and three-room apartments are available, ideal for a family vacation. Each of the apartments has a bathroom, a living room with a seating area and a TV, while many are also connected to a terrace or balcony. At the same time, all apartments are equipped with a kitchenette, where you will find a stove, refrigerator, kettle, dining area and, in the case of larger apartments, a dishwasher. The entire cottage has a WIFI internet connection and the apartments are complemented by a regionally furnished common room with its own fireplace and terrace.
You can spend your free time by the fireplace, in a log cabin with a grill and a fireplace, or in a cradle, where you will be pleasantly warmed by the stove. Sports-minded visitors can use Russian skittles, a giant mikado, a wide range of ball games, as well as a field for badminton and football, while a playground with climbing frames, swings, a trampoline and other attractions is dedicated to children. Especially the little ones will be delighted to see the sheep and goats grazing here, while in the winter season the nearby hill is perfect for a proper sledding. The parking lot with a capacity of 10 spaces is located right next to the building, and the interesting thing about the cottage is that its owner is a former mountain guide and works in the Mountain Service, thanks to which he can provide you with practical tips that you simply can't find in bedekers.

Chata Škerda is located in Pod lánom, practically in the heart of the tourist-attractive village of Zuberec. Thanks to a similar enviable location, you can easily move from it to the majestic Roháče, where not only mysterious pools and an attractive waterfall await you, but also Smutné sedlo or the hills of Baníkov, Ostrý Roháč, Plačlivé, Volovec and many others. Winter sports call to the resorts of Janovky, Milotín and Spálená - Roháče, where you can get a discount for accommodation in the same way as for relaxing in the Oravice water park.
