Translated: We booked a holiday in March – 4 rooms with an approximate number of people, agreed were 2x 4 people per room and 2x 2 people per room for 3 nights. It was agreed to pay for the number of people who actually come, since we booked 5 months in advance and didn’t know if everyone would attend; after all, anything can happen - someone might get sick or something else. The owner told us by phone we would pay for those who come. Upon arrival, fewer people showed up than planned, but we had to pay for everyone, including those who didn’t come, for all nights. The owner was arrogant and remarked, "there will be less money again." We will definitely not return.

Guesthouse Tilia is located in the recreation area Vinné by the lake." - Vinné by the lake?? Please? We only found out on the day of departure that the guesthouse is at Zemplínska Šírava. The response we got was "well, a lake is a lake" .. okay then I send you to Zlaté piesky and you end up at the Senec Lakes, okay.. We got a different apartment, luckily newer and bigger. But cleanliness was quite poor, an unbelievable amount of insects and cobwebs everywhere, dirty kitchenware which is more a reflection of previous guests but you can check it during cleaning, quite disgusting. The water heater made strange noises all day and night. I would welcome window screens also on the upstairs windows of the apartment because it was impossible to stay in the evening with windows closed because we had lights on. Location and access to the water are great, especially the spot by the water - excellent.

Translated: We arrived at the agreed address the owner of the cabin sent us, but in the end they placed us in a completely different guesthouse than what we paid for, the photos didn't match reality at all, the price per night was 50% higher and the deposit was never refunded. I do not recommend this ever again.

Translated: We came to the guesthouse but the price was €60 higher than the owner had stated. The accommodation absolutely did not match the photos. The accommodation address is not in Vinné but in Hôrka. Our deposit was not returned. My experience with this guesthouse is bad and will not improve.

Translated: The apartment is very nicely equipped, the kitchen is great, the terrace and seating on it, possibility to grill in the gazebo. Restaurant 50 m from the apartments. A smell probably coming from under the fridge. Low-quality pillows. Otherwise, good accommodation for the price.

Due to the size of the group, we had to split also to the Hôrka Pension, but both accommodations were excellent. A big merry group of four cars from Bratislava, we toured the whole Zemplín region. Vihorlat, castles, wooden churches around, the beautiful manor in Humenné, the wonderful Morské oko, swimming and boating on Zemplínska Šírava.

Translated: We had a deposit paid to the owner’s account, but upon arrival the owner had not matched the deposit with the reservation, the accommodation was given to someone else for a longer stay, we were offered alternative accommodation but it was not adequate.
