Our lodge serves not only as a place to stay overnight but also as an open laboratory for research and education in sustainability. We are gradually building facilities for ecological activities and plan to develop sustainable management in the nearby area in the future. The building and furnishings are made from recycled, upcycled, local, and natural materials. Everything is vegan. We follow circular principles—from waste processing to resource reuse. We know we are not perfect, but we do our utmost to minimize our ecological footprint.\nWhether you prefer local foods or functional foods of the future, you will always eat here with a clear conscience. We offer simple, tasty, and nutritionally balanced vegan dishes—zero waste and made from quality ingredients. We’re happy to prepare meals respecting your dietary restrictions and special requirements. The lodge’s surroundings are ideal for hiking, biking, and quiet contemplation. And we are probably the only ones offering a discount on accommodation if you arrive with your animal partners: 3%, or 5% if they are strays, shelter animals, or otherwise disadvantaged animal friends.
What program would you recommend to your guests in case of rain?
At the lodge, you will find many card and other games (e.g., Bobří banda, Love Letter, etc.). If you come with up to four people, you will also have access to one of the few sustainable turntables in the world, made by House of Marley from bamboo, REWIND fabric, 100% recycled plastic, and other sustainable materials. On it, you can play true audio gems—limited editions, test pressings, and other rare recordings exclusively on BioVinyl or vinyl made from recycled material. Some exist worldwide in only three copies... And if the lodge feels cramped, you can explore nearby: visit the Divoké jablko cider house, go for massages at Vachušek’s, take pottery classes at Aduša’s, tour the open-air museum in Chanovice, or drive to Blatná, Nepomuk, Horažďovice...

How far is the Set for a draw from the nearest swimming spot?
You can usually swim in nearby ponds. The closest is only 333 m as the crow flies and has comfortable water access right from the dam. A little over 2.5 km away are two former granite quarries, Defurovy Lažany I and II, popular for swimming due to their clean cold water, good accessibility, and romantic atmosphere. Recently, the owner has prohibited entry to the flooded quarry Defurovy Lažany I, but you can swim in Defurovy Lažany II without any restrictions. The Aquapark Horažďovice is open all year round.
How far is the NAZOVUBOTOVANIA from the ski slope?
The nearest skiing option is Skiareál Javorná, about 40 km away. It is a small family resort with slopes suitable for families with children. Another option is skiing at Ski areál Kašperské Hory, about 45 km away, suitable especially for beginners and leisure skiers.\nThe largest and best-equipped resort in the wider area is Ski areál Zadov, offering several slopes, cross-country trails, and more facilities. It is about 60 km from the lodge. However, we prefer to go to Großer Arber (Velký Javor) in Germany, about 80 km away.
How does it work when checking in?
You can park your vehicle less than 1 km from the lodge at Nová Ves 24, 335 01 Oselce, Plzeň-jih. From there, we transport your luggage with a lumber wagon, just like our great-grandmother did, directly to the lodge and introduce you to the place and its surroundings.
When and how is accommodation paid for?
Accommodation is usually paid by a 50% deposit invoice. The remaining amount is also paid by invoice so that the total amount is fully paid by the arrival day of our guests. Invoices always contain a QR code for easy payment. Only a refundable deposit is paid in cash at the start of the stay.
Can I drive directly to the accommodation in case of bad weather?
Vehicles do not drive directly to the lodge. Parking is available less than 1 km from the lodge at Nová Ves 24, 335 01 Oselce, Plzeň-jih, accessible via standard lower-class roads.
What else should a guest know before arriving?
Smoking, vaping, and lighting fires are prohibited in and around Posed V remízu. Guests are also forbidden from hunting, fishing, or any other activities aimed at killing, mutilating, or otherwise suppressing animal rights.
