The cottage was very well equipped; we especially appreciated the bathrooms in each room and the plenty of entertainment for children. Communication with the owner and the lady managing the cottage was very good. Basically, no negatives; the only thing we missed was oven mitts :)

Family cottage Hybe is located on the outskirts of the village of Hybe near the forest. The cottage accommodates 15 people (including 3 extra beds) in 4 bedrooms (4 bathrooms, 5 toilets). Accommodation is available only for you. Stay with a small dog is allowed for a fee. Outside there is a gazebo, cauldron, terrace, garden swing, outdoor fireplace, grill, and outdoor seating. The family cottage Hybe is located in the beautiful surroundings of Liptov, in the village of Hybe. The village is situated below the royal town with the statue of Pacha the robber of Hybe, which is located on a protected square. The cottage accommodates you all year round with a total capacity for 15 people. You will sleep comfortably in four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with toilet. You will spend pleasant moments with friends and loved ones in the common room with a fireplace, board games, TV and sofa. The common room is connected to a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and dining area. There is another separate toilet on the ground floor and a smaller kitchenette on the first floor.
In addition, the owner's favorite thing is available to guests - a men's club. The room is located outside the main building and is equipped with a fireplace, CD player and seating. Gentlemen can enjoy quality whiskey and quality cigars here.
For children, the owner's favorite thing is the children's room, which is full of toys, dolls, blocks and toy cars. This room is adjacent to the adult game room, where you can find darts, billiards or cards, and in the second room there is table football, air hockey and Playstation 4
In the exterior, you can enjoy the view of the panorama of our beautiful Tatras. You can sit in the gazebo with the possibility of grilling or cooking real kettle goulash. There is a landscaped garden, sandbox and swing for children. Of course, there is free WiFi internet connection and parking in a closed yard directly next to the property.
The Hybe family cottage is surrounded by the majestic peaks of the High and Low Tatras. There are many hiking and cycling trails in the area. We recommend you to visit the Liptovský Hrádok Castle, the Východná Amphitheatre, the arboretum or the Liptov Village Museum - Pribylina. With your children you can go to Mincovníčkovo, to the Mini Slovakia park or to the farm in the village of Východná. You can relax, unwind and enjoy water attractions in the Tatralandia aquapark, in Bešeňová or in the Aqua - Vital park Lúčky. In winter you can ski great at the Opalisko ski resort or in the famous Jasná - Low Tatras resort.

If you are going to a cottage with children, the kids' corner is perfect; our children spent almost the entire stay there. The fire pit is enchanting (those mushroom seats were perfect 😍) the terrace with a fireplace and a basin and enough seating was perfect. The plot is fully fenced, so if you bring a four-legged pet, you don’t have to worry about it running away. \nThis cottage is truly family-oriented and will create beautiful memories for you. 😊 :-)\n\nLast but not least, many thanks to Mrs. Zdenka, with whom you can agree on the arrival time and if possible, they will also allow a later departure time. Ubytovanie je naozaj čarovné, to úžasné prostredie a výhľady, ktoré ponúka nechajú v človeku príjemné pocity. Ubytovanie je priestranné, postele boli úžasné (matrac v primeranej tvrdosti), čisté izby, každá izba mala svoju kúpeľňu s toaletou. Na poschodí boli dve spálne a menšia "kuchynka" (umývadlo, kanvica, chladnička, základné riady). Na dolnom poschodí dve nepriechodné izby, obývačka s kuchyňou (kuchyňa plne vybavená a človek tam nájde naozaj všetko). Pokiaľ idete na chatu s deťmi, tak detský kútik je dokonalý, naše deti tam strávili skoro celý pobyt. Ohnisko čarovné (tie hríbiky na sedenie boli dokonalé 😍) terasa s krbom a kotlinou a dostatočným posedením bola perfektná. Pozemok je celý oplotený, čiže ak si so sebou zoberiete aj štvornohého miláčika nemusíte sa báť, že by sa zabehol.
Táto chata je naozaj rodinná a vytvorí vám krásne spomienky. 😊 :-)
V neposlednom rade veľká vďaka pani Zdenka, s ktorou sa dá dohodnúť na termíne príchodu a ak je možné, umožnia vám aj neskorší termín odchodu. Veľmi príjemná pani, ochotná poradiť a v podstate vám odštartuje dovolenku v tej najlepšej nálade. :-)

Pani, ktorá má na starosti privítanie a odovzdanie kľúčov bola veľmi milá a ochotná.
Chata bola čistá, pekná.
Pozitívne hodnotíme najmä, že každá izba mala vlastnu kúpeľňu.
Chata je priestranná, dobre vybavená, izby sú pekné a aj v kuchyni nájdete čo treba. Miesta je nao,aj dosť my sme boli 7 dospelých a 2 deti.
Vyuzili sme kotlík a všetci posedeli pri guláši. Deti sa zároveň vyhrali v pieskovisku, na šmýkačke a starší sa vyslal na trampolíne.
Veľké plus je menší domček hneď vedľa, kde som do detskej hernicky vzala malého, aby si ostatní mohli v kľude pospať ráno a aj keď bolo nedobre počasie.
Herná so šípkami a biliardom je tiež super.
Dobrý nápad je aj tzv. Pánsky klub.
Lokalita je tiež dobrá, nie je odtiaľ ďaleko ani na výlet do kontaktnej zoo, domu hore nohami či Tatralandia a iných atrakcií.
Všeobecne hodnotíme chatu pozitívne a určite, ak budeme hľadať chatu pre viac ľudí v tejto lokalite, nebude to ťažké rozhodovanie.

... but during a winter stay with small children, it’s quite an unsuitable place because the cabin consists of two separate floors connected by a completely icy corridor - it’s not insulated and not heated... so the kids are constantly running between warmth and cold during the entire stay, which isn’t an ideal solution... and this is not mentioned in the accommodation description...
Furthermore, I do not recommend entering the billiard room at all because when you try to start playing billiards, a repeatedly glued leg obviously fell off and they expected us to cover the repair costs... Fortunately, common sense prevailed in the end and everything was explained...
Liptov is a region of endless opportunities for trips!

…ale pri pobyte s malými deťmi v zime dosť nevhodný objekt pretože chata pozostáva z dvoch samostatných poschodi ktoré sú predelené absolútne ľadovou spojovacou chodbou - nieje odizolovaná a nekúri sa tam… takze deti neustále cely pobyt behajú rozhorúčené z tepla do zimy čo nieje úplne šťastne riešenie… a nieje to ani uvedené v popise ubytovania…
Ďalej neodporúčam vôbec vstupovať do miestnosti s biliardom pretože chcete začať hrať biliard, odpadne vam evidentne niekoľkokrát lepená nožička a budú vam chcieť dať preplatiť opravu… Našťastie ale nakoniec zvíťazil zdravý rozum a všetko sa vysvetlilo…
Liptov je región nekonečných výletných možnosti!

Translated: Dear cabin guests, maybe it’s unusual in Slovakia, but despite over 30 positive reviews, even one negative one saddens us... because we are very glad that everyone feels as good as possible here with us... Use every room in our cabin – they are for you and you pay for them. We would never dare to "take" your deposit, but surely you understand that like every accommodation facility, we must protect ourselves against possible damage. After a threat of such a review, that we would suffer because of it and would not leave the cabin until returning the deposit, common sense really prevailed 😁 and the broken billiard table leg after this visit was repaired by a carpenter at our own expense... no gluing. So everything is ready for the next visit, and we are looking forward to seeing you. And we believe that even the unheated entrance hallway for changing shoes (since we are a family CABIN and not a family HOUSE) will not spoil the beautiful view of the wonderful Tatras from it. PS: We keep trying to improve for you so you feel as comfortable as possible here, as much as our finances allow. This year, among other things, insulation of the entrance hall is planned. Po vyhrážaní sa nám takou recenziou, že sa z toho po.erieme a neopustením chaty kým nevrátime kauciu nakoniec naozaj zvíťazil zdravý rozum 😁 a zlomenú nohu na biliardovom stole po tejto návšteve sme dali stolárovi opraviť na vlastné náklady ... žiadne lepenie. Takže je všetko pripravené pre ďalšiu návštevu a už sa na vás tešíme. A veríme, ze ani vstupná chodba na prezúvanie bez vykurovania (keďže sme rodinná CHATA a nie rodinný DOM) vám nepokazí ten krásny pohľad na nadherné Tatry práve z nej. First, we were very pleasantly surprised by Mrs. Anička, who with her kind approach made our entire stay pleasant. The second best moment was when we entered the cottage, we were thrilled with the cottage's equipment. Each room had its own heater, so there was plenty of warmth, a private bathroom which is a big plus. The kitchen was fully equipped which is top-notch. The surrounding area was unique for both children and us adults. In the evening while grilling, we enjoyed an amazing atmosphere in the gazebo with lights. Another plus was the game room where the kids had a room full of toys and right next to it for us adults, there was billiards and darts. We will definitely return with friends; it was a 10 out of 10 cottage. We can only recommend it.

Original (Slovak): Ako víťazka pobytu na Rodinnej chate Hybe musím napísať ako nám bolo úžasne. Ako prve nás veľmi prekvapila pani Anička, ktorá svojím milým prístupom nám spríjemnila celý pobyt. Druhý najlepší moment bol ako sme vošli do chaty boli sme nadšený z vybavenia chaty. Každá izba mala svoj ohrievač takže o teplo bolo dostatočne postarané, vlastnú kúpeľňu co je veľké plus. Kuchyňa plne vybavená čo je top. Prostredie okolo chaty bolo jedinečné aj pre deti aj pre nás dospelých. Večer pri grilovaní sme si vychutnali úžasnu atmosféru v altánku so svetielkami. Ďalšie plus bola herňa v ktorej mali deti plnú izbu hraciek a hneď vedľa pre nás dospelých biliard a šípky. Určite sa s priateľmi vrátime bola to chata 10 z 10. Môžeme ju len a len odporúčať.

Now we are going again with 4 moms and 4 children. A big plus is that the cabin is fenced all around the property, children can safely play, there is a playground, sandbox, trampoline, playhouse, toys right in the garden; while kids play, we adults can grill a lot, cook goulash, the seating area is covered and spacious, which we used even when it drizzled. In bad weather, there is a plan B for the kids. An extra house with a children's playroom and also a billiard and darts room right there. The cabin itself has everything needed for the stay; I don't recommend bringing too much stuff, everything is at hand, including a fireplace for the evening, so it’s warm. For me, regarding cabins, this is top, whether with kids or without, everyone finds their own. If someone doesn't like something or it doesn’t suit them, you need to give feedback in the guestbook or to Anicka (who takes care of the cabin and cleans); shortcomings will be removed and improvements made, the owners care about guests' satisfaction. We are coming at the beginning of June, so it will definitely be a great stay, hopefully the weather will be good so we can fully enjoy it.
