The story of our log cabin has a long history, dating back to the 18th century. It was built together with the neighboring mill on the banks of the Hartský stream (locals call it Kacák or Kacbach), 3 km from Dvůr Králové nad Labem on the edge of the village of Komárov. The Hartský stream, which is clean and calm under normal conditions, but which can literally turn into a raging river during heavy rains, used to serve as a water mill drive in the past, which operated here for many generations.

When we first entered the log cabin's grounds, history breathed on us and we knew that it was our duty to preserve the soul of this place. Our dream was to create a space that would respect the historical value of this building, but at the same time offer modern comfort for those looking for peace and relaxation. We renovated the log cabin, paying attention to every detail and turning the dream into reality. The Dolní mlýn log cabin is a place where tradition and modernity come together, where you can feel history and at the same time be pampered with luxury.

It is an ideal place for those who are looking for authenticity, are nature lovers, want to explore the surrounding forests, or just looking for a quiet place to work remotely.

There are many destinations to visit in the area, such as the nearby Dvůr Králové with the famous African ZOO, Kuks Chateau, the Les Království dam, and countless cycling trails.

And now to our cottage. It is full of old furniture that exudes history, but is also equipped with modern technologies, from WIFI, to a hydromassage bathtub and to underfloor heating.

The living area of 120 m2 includes a hallway, kitchen, bedroom, small room, bathroom with toilet, garage (from which you can also enter the kitchen) and a Finnish sauna. Heating is provided by a heat pump and you can also charge your electric car with us.

The kitchen has a dishwasher, refrigerator, induction hob with built-in oven, wine cooler, kettle, coffee press and all the dishes. You can eat with us, for example, from traditional onion porcelain.

The bedroom has a massive double bed 180 x 200 cm large made of pine wood, the mattress is of luxury hotel quality and you can relax in Egyptian cotton bedding. The bedroom also has a large TV.

In the second, smaller room, there is a bunk bed for children, the mattress is also of hotel quality and the bedding is also made of cotton.

The bathroom provides relaxation in a corner hydromassage bath, in which you can not only play the radio, hydromassage jets and bubble massage, but also water ozone. Romantics can also take advantage of the intimate colored lighting. The bathroom is equipped with a washing machine and dryer. And you can enter the Finnish sauna from it, where you can cool off in a cold shower after warming up. The sauna is included in the price of accommodation.

Outside, you can spend time in a large pergola with an outdoor kitchen and grill. In the heat, you can cool off with water mist. Or, for an additional fee, you can heat water in a wood-burning stove and enjoy a bubble bath in a barrel under the open sky.

You can also stay with a dog in our log cabin, but due to the quality of the bedding, we ask that the dog not sleep in the bed, but in its own bed. It is also important to mention that there is no fence around the log cabin, nor are we planning to do so in the future. The owner is liable for any damage caused by the dog.

An outdoor hot tub will also be available for guests from May 2025, the use of which will be included in the price of accommodation.
