We recommend visiting the picturesque town of Vimperk with its historic center and beautiful castle, setting out to the Boubín lookout tower, or exploring the area around the legendary Boubín Primeval Forest. Also worth a visit are the natural beauties around Kubova Huť, attracting both hiking and cycling.

Upon arrival at Roubenka Šumava, the owner of the property will personally welcome you, guide you through the entire log cabin, introduce its amenities, and explain everything necessary for your comfortable and worry-free stay.\n\nHe will be happy to answer any questions you have, advise you on how to operate various facilities, and hand over the keys to the property.\n\nAfter handing over the log cabin, the owner leaves, and you have the entire property exclusively for yourself throughout your stay, so you can fully enjoy privacy, tranquility, and undisturbed relaxation.\n\nOur goal is for you to feel at home from the very first moment.

Payment for accommodation is made according to an individual agreement at the time of booking your stay. Typically, we require a deposit of 50% of the total accommodation price, which you pay in advance via bank transfer to the owner’s account. The remaining 50% is paid in cash upon arrival and handover of the log cabin.\n\nUpon check-in, the following fees also apply:\n\nRecreational fee: 21 CZK per adult per night.\n\nRefundable deposit: 5,000 CZK, which serves as a security in case of damage to equipment or the property. If everything is in order upon departure, the owner will refund the full deposit.\n\nElectricity consumption: Electricity is not included in the accommodation price and is paid by guests according to actual consumption. Upon arrival, you and the owner will record the electricity meter reading, and a final reading and billing will be done upon departure.\n\nAll payment terms are transparent and agreed upon in advance so you can enjoy your stay without unpleasant surprises.

Yes, you can comfortably reach our Roubenka Šumava directly by car, even in bad weather.\n\nSo, you don’t need to worry about carrying luggage over long distances or about difficult access to the property. You can drive up directly to the log cabin, which is especially appreciated by families with young children or guests with a lot of luggage.\n\nYour comfort starts right from arrival!

Before arriving at our Roubenka Šumava, we recommend arranging an approximate arrival time with the owner so he can personally welcome you, show you around the property, and hand over the keys.\n\nTo ensure a smooth and pleasant stay, it’s good to know some important information:\n\nPayment for stay: The remaining accommodation fee is generally paid in cash upon arrival.\n\nRefundable deposit: A 5,000 CZK deposit is collected at arrival and returned at the end of your stay if everything is in order.\n\nRecreational fee: A fee of 21 CZK per adult per night is paid on site.\n\nElectricity consumption: Guests pay for electricity based on actual consumption. Upon arrival, the meter reading is recorded together with the owner.\n\nPets welcome: Your four-legged friends are warmly welcomed free of charge! The entire property is fully fenced, so you don’t have to worry about your dog running away. You can enjoy your vacation together without concerns.\n\nDrinking water: High-quality drinking water flows throughout the property and is suitable even for the youngest children. You don’t need to bring bottled water.\n\nBedding included: Clean bed linen is provided free of charge to all our guests and is included in the accommodation price. You don’t need to bring your own, so you can travel lighter.\n\nSmoking: Smoking traditional cigarettes is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas of the log cabin. In the living room with the fireplace, the use of heated tobacco devices, such as IQOS, is tolerated.\n\nWaste sorting: Containers for sorted waste are located directly opposite the log cabin. We kindly ask all our guests to sort their waste carefully and help us protect the beautiful Šumava nature. Let our beautiful Šumava last for many years to come!\n\nFirewood free of charge: The consumption of firewood is unlimited and fully included in the accommodation price.
