The chalet has 3 bedrooms and 7 beds. We requested a booking for 6 adults and 3 children (6, 3, and 2 years old), which could have been easily accommodated, as my 3 and 2-year-old children love to sleep with us in the double bed. We often bring a portable baby cot for our daughter for comfort, and from pictures on the website, there was plenty of room in one of the rooms for it. After explaining this to the owner, they did not understand and decided not to accommodate our children. Basically, they discriminated against them. They also mentioned limited water availability that would not be sufficient for the extra people, in this case, our children. These were cheap excuses; we have never faced such an attitude when booking chalets, not even in Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia, or Hungary. Those places were very welcoming to our children, but this experience was a huge disappointment. This wasn’t the first time we encountered poor hospitality in the Czech Republic. The place looks nice and shiny in pictures but is owned by people with no respect or heart for children. If you have kids, consider this carefully and look elsewhere, please!
