Štiavnice cottages are our dream family project. The exterior is inspired by miner's houses, as we are located a short distance from the famous Banská Štiavnica with its exceptional architecture, and we adjusted the interior according to the principles of Scandinavian design, with which we would like to create an atmosphere of Hygge (a word of Scandinavian origin for well-being and contentment). There are two cottages and they are almost identical. On the ground floor there is a connected living room with a kitchen, from where you can reach a spacious wooden terrace and a bathroom with a shower. Upstairs there are two cozy bedrooms. Each has a double bed and one has an additional single bed. In total, the cottage can accommodate 7 people, if we also count the sofa bed on the ground floor. But for ideal comfort, we recommend a smaller number of guests.
The surroundings of the cottages are full of the beautiful nature of Štiavnické vrchy and opportunities for new experiences. Not far from the cottages are the Richňavské lakes, where you can easily go on foot. The lakes are, especially in summer, popular for swimming in nature and also for water sports and fishing. There are wonderful hiking and cycling routes in the area, which you can conveniently connect to just a short distance from the cottages. Not to mention the history and culture of historic Banská Štiavnica, which is only 10 minutes away by car.
