Studio Glass Doležal

Studio Glass Doležal can be found in the village of Škrdlovice, in the Žďár nad Sázavou district. The village is located in the center of the Žďárské vrchy Protected Landscape Area in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands.

From March to October, we offer accommodation for 14 guests in seven 2-bed rooms in newly renovated premises. For example, cyclists, bikers or seniors will feel good here. The accommodation is not suitable for families with small children.

All rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with a large double bed, a table with armchairs and a television. Each room has its own bathroom with a shower and toilet. Free WiFi internet access is available throughout the building.

All guests can use a shared kitchenette, which is equipped with an induction hob, microwave, fridge with freezer, toaster, coffee maker and dishwasher. The kitchenette is connected to the dining room, where each room has its own table for two, so that everyone has their own privacy. Breakfast is also served in the dining room, which you can order during your stay. Other common areas include a large hall with a view of the garden and a roofed atrium with a hanging swing and armchairs. The atrium offers a view of the open glass gallery.

Outside, you can choose to sit under the pergola or on the sun loungers in the garden. In the summer months, you will appreciate the outdoor pool. For a fee, guests can use the private infrared sauna. You can store your bikes in a dedicated lockable room in the house, where there are also sockets for electric bikes. Parking for 7 cars is provided directly at the property in a fenced parking lot.

The biggest attractions in the area include Velké Dářko, where you can swim in the pond or try water sports such as yachting or windsurfing, or go for walks and cycling in its surroundings. Try to find all the giant sculptures by artist Michal Olšiak, there are more than 20 of them and they are scattered throughout the Žďár region. You can also explore the Žďárské vrchy Protected Landscape Area by bike, take one of the three circuits of the Žďárské vrchy cycle path crisscrossing the countryside. Tourists like to visit the Pilgrimage Church of St. John of Nepomuk on Zelená hora. The Žďár nad Sázavou and Nové Město na Moravě chateaux are also interesting. If the weather does not allow you to swim in the pond, you can go to the Žďár nad Sázavou Relaxation Center. You can enjoy winter sports in the Harusák, Svratka or Hlinsko ski resorts.
