Ubytovňa Čachtice

The friendly Čachtice hostel provides accommodation for 16 guests in five comfortable rooms. Each room has a bathroom with toilet and shower, TV and kitchenette. Visitors have at their disposal board games and sitting in the gazebo with barbecue. There is gas heating and five parking spaces at the building, which can be used all year round. There is a wine shop with a traditional vaulted cellar, as well as a bus stop, a grocery store and restaurant facilities.

The Čachtice hostel is located in a quiet part of the village of the same name, above which rises the Čachtice Castle, which was made famous by stories about Countess Alžběta Báthoryová. A lesser-known landmark of the village is the Draškovič manor built in the Renaissance style. At present, it is also the seat of the Čachtice Museum, which presents general history and culture. The area is full of interesting attractions, whether we mention the Park of Miniatures in Podolí, the New Zealand farm near Modrová, the Podjavorin Museum in Nové Mesto nad Váhom or the Beckov and Tematín castles. You can experience super skiing in the Ski Bezovec and Ski park Kálnica resorts, while relaxation by the water is brought by the Zelená voda reservoir. Among the tourist tips in the area of Považský Inovec and the White Carpathians, you can highlight the Veľký Plešivec hill, the karst area of Sokolie skaly, the Čertova pec cave and the majestic Inovec hill.
