A cycling route leading under Čachtice Castle!
Bátoričkin cycling route leads through the land of the bloodthirsty Elisabeth Báthory. This route connects several villages under the castle of the Lady of Čachtice. It starts and ends in the village of Podolie at the Miniature Park. From here, the route heads south, and after the statue of saints, it turns towards Podolské kopanice. The trail continues to climb to Ošmek, which is the highest point of this route. From there, a pleasant descent will take you through the settlement of Dobrá Mera to the village of Krajné and further to Hrachovište. Then the route heads under Čachtice Castle to Čachtice and back to Podolie.Read on
