Outside, there is also a beautifully maintained yard with the option for barbecuing, grilling, cooking goulash, and a swing that my daughter really liked; wood is available either for heating or roasting, really great.
Beautiful surrounding environment; we really enjoyed our time there with our family, it was hard to leave.
We will definitely return and can only recommend it; the price is also affordable.

Čičmany is famous for its distinctive folk architecture with decorated wooden houses. The village has three quality restaurants, a grocery store combined with a post office, so during about a week-long stay there is no need to go anywhere else (shopping, etc.). The village itself is quite visited by tourists during the summer holidays during the day, but in the morning and evening it is quiet, and just a little beyond the village in the meadows and forests you rarely meet anyone all day. The surrounding hills are quite steep but offer beautiful views, so it is definitely worth climbing them. Within reach of half- to full-day hikes from Čičmany are mainly the Strážov and Kľak hills.

Travnatý dvorek s houpačkou je kromě parkování vhodný a bezpečný i pro malé děti. Majitelé milí a velmi vstřícní! Byli jsme velmi spokojení.
Čičmany jsou proslavené svou rázovitou lidovou architekturou se zdobenými dřevěnicemi. V obci se nachází tři kvalitní restaurace, obchod se smíšeným zbožím spojený zároveň s poštou, takže při zhruba týdenním pobytu není ani potřeba jezdit nikam jinam (nakupovat apod.). Obec samotná je o letních prázdninách přes den poměrně hojně navštěvovaná turisty, nicméně ráno a večer je tam klid a již kousíček za vesnicí na loukách a v lesích po celý den téměř nikoho nepotkáte. Okolní kopce jsou značně strmé, ale poskytují nádherné výhledy, takže určitě stojí za to se na ně vyškrábat. V dosahu půl- až celodenních pěších výletů z Čičman se jedná zejména o vrchy Strážov a Kľak.
