Chata Závažka

Liptov is the most beautiful and most visited corner of Slovakia, where everyone can find something for themselves. The Závažka Cottage boasts a strategic location near the ski slopes in the village of Závažná Poruba, but also a stylish modern interior in which you will feel at home.

The Závažka Cottage offers year-round accommodation for up to 10 guests with a wellness area and a large garden. The ground floor is an open space with a kitchen, dining and living area. The fully equipped kitchen is adapted for everyday meal preparation - you will find an induction hob, electric oven, kettle, microwave, combined refrigerator, dishwasher, as well as wine glasses, shot glasses, cups, pots, pans, wok, baking dish and baking trays. Of course, there is an elegant dining table at which you can enjoy dining together.

The living room has a spacious sofa, board games and a TV. Movie connoisseurs will be pleased with the streaming services Netflix, HBO Max, Apple TV and more. There is direct access from the living room to the covered terrace - here you can sit in peace and enjoy, for example, your morning coffee. On the ground floor there is also a 2-bed bedroom with separate beds and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The lower part of the cottage is closed by a technical room, which also serves as storage. A vacuum cleaner and a clothes drying rack are also available.

The attic of the cottage consists of two bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The first bedroom has a double bed and a single bed with the possibility of being spread out, the second bedroom offers relaxation on a double bed and two single beds. Towels are provided for each guest, and we are happy to provide a cot or a high chair for children. You can connect to WiFi internet throughout the property. You can diversify your free time during your stay by cooking a pot stew, grilling or relaxing in a hot tub. Children will enjoy the children's playground with swings and a trampoline. Parking will not be a problem either, up to three vehicles can be parked comfortably with us.

In the village of Závažná Poruba, in addition to the Ski Opalisko ski resort with more than 3 km of slopes and a cross-country skiing area, there is also a zoo and a go-kart hall Monaco Grand Prix. Popular places in the area include Aquapark Tatralandia, Bešeňová, the Jasná ski resort, ZOO Kontakt, the beautiful Demänovské caves or Jánska dolina with a unique thermal spring and a miniature park. The surrounding area offers many hiking and cycling trails in the Low and West Tatras, which makes it an ideal place for a vacation throughout the year.
