Long lake Vysoké Tatry
The Tatra glacial lake - Dlhé pleso is located below the Eastern Slavkov Tower at an altitude of nearly 1,900 meters. The lake lies in the so-called Long Basin, which is part of the Great Cold Valley that contains 27 lakes. The Dlhý Creek flows from Dlhé pleso to Vareškové pleso, located below Dlhé pleso. Both lakes are accessible via marked hiking trails, starting from Starý Smokovec or Hrebienok.
