The Gothic church was built in the first half of the 14th century. The wall paintings on the ribbed vault and surrounding walls date from the late 14th century. The interior furnishings are predominantly Baroque. The altar, pulpit, and stone baptismal font come from the second half of the 17th century. Valuable iron Gothic doors to the sacristy date to the 14th century, and the early Renaissance doors leading from the arcade corridor to the church are from the early 16th century.
