It stands at 2,655 meters, and climbing it is only permitted with an experienced mountain guide. The route: the mountain hotel Sliezsky dom is reached by a path alongside the 15-meter-high Velický waterfall from the valley trail Kvetnica. From there, one must take a left onto an unmarked path that leads to Velická próba, which is usually the ascent route to Gerlachovský štít.
