Cerveny Kamen Castle Píla (okres Pezinok)
The first mentions of the castle date back to 1240. The castle was damaged and rebuilt several times. It is declared a national cultural monument and is a unique building. Its construction began at the behest of Queen Konštancia, the wife of Přemysl Otakar I. It often changed owners. The Pálffy family had the castle converted into a Renaissance fortress, and they owned it until the end of World War II. There is a chapel of St. Catherine here. The historical furniture and collections of ceramics are intriguing. A unique feature is the artificial beehive caverns built into the palace. These comprise waterfalls and fountains.
