The castle was built in the 13th century and was known as Osdin. It is mentioned in connection with the division of the Turičovci family’s estate. The core consisted of a prism tower, a palace with a courtyard, and two cylindrical towers. In the 15th century, it was captured by the Jiskra forces. Later, the castle probably fell to the Turks. After the castle was abandoned, it became the property of František Bebek. In the 17th century, the castle began to fall into ruin.
