A nature trail passes through this area, introducing the history, archaeology, and nature. The starting point is usually Detva. The Underpolianske Museum in Detva also offers a guided tour of the hill fort.In the Poľana protected area is located the site of Kaľamárka, which features an important archaeological site—a hill fort that was gradually settled by prehistoric cultures of the Bronze Age, Celts, Germans, and Slavs. There are stunning rocky formations—walls, towers, and chimneys, which makes this area attractive for archaeology enthusiasts, tourists, and rock climbing aficionados.
