Calvary in Sumiac Šumiac
In the natural environment of the Low Tatras, near the hiking trail to Kráľova hoľa above the village of Šumiac, you will find a Calvary. The Calvary is unique in that there are no chapels or churches. The Stations of the Cross are marked by stone monuments with texts. At the top of the Calvary is the "Open Temple of the Seven Sorrows Virgin Mary," which consists of stone foundations and a large wooden cross.
