Above the village of Lúka, in the second half of the 17th century, a late Renaissance castle, later modified in the Baroque style, was built for the nobleman Gašpar Šándor. The castle is surrounded by a park and has a fortress-like appearance, emphasized by four corner towers. It is said in the village that Gašpar wanted to build the castle differently, but his energetic wife Katarína insisted that the construction look according to her vision. When the castle was completed and the nobleman saw how it looked, he allegedly had inscribed on one of its walls: "Woe to the court where a cow orders the ox."
