In the city park of Trebišov, there is a Baroque-classical manor built by the noble family Csáky. Today, its premises are used as the Trebišov Local Museum. The museum features a plethora of diverse exhibitions, such as the exhibition of traditional folk culture of Zemplín, a lapidarium with a collection of antiques made of stone, and an exhibition of the famous Tokaj winemaking with an archive where one may taste exquisite wines once favored by aristocrats throughout Europe. The Trebišov museum is the only one in Slovakia dedicated to philumeny – the history of humanity's control of fire from ancient times to the invention of matches.
