Lake Eden is not an ordinary cottage. It is a unique lakeside place that combines privacy, the tranquility of nature, and comfortable accommodation. Guests do not come here just to sleep but to unwind, slow down, and recharge in an environment offering an unforgettable atmosphere all year round. In summer, swimming in the lake, paddleboarding, boating; year-round fishing; in winter, ice skating on the frozen lake. The view of the lake's surface from the private pier, where waves gently sway by day and reflect tree silhouettes like a mirror in the evening, is truly healing.
What program would you recommend to your guests in case of rain?
Even rainy days have their charm. We recommend enjoying the comfort of the cabin, shared moments with family or friends, plenty of board and card games, a good book, or relaxing with a view of the lake. The outdoor seating is under a shelter with infrared heating, so even cooler weather doesn’t have to immediately drive guests indoors. There is a Finnish sauna and a fireplace stove, which is the coziest cinema. If guests want to watch a good movie, they can surely choose from Netflix's selection. The nearest cinema with several screening rooms is at Bory Mall on the outskirts of Bratislava, just a 13-minute drive away. The capital city offers ways to spend a rainy day in museums or galleries.
What activities do you recommend to your guests around the cottage?
The surroundings offer many options for both active and peaceful relaxation. Popular activities include nature walks, hiking, cycling trips, fishing, mushroom picking, water activities by the lake, or exploring the beauty of the region. We recommend a short hike to Pajštún or Plavecký Castle, trips in the Malé Karpaty Mountains, exploring the Malokarpatská wine region or wine cellars in Modra, or the sand dunes in Šranecké piesky.
What activities do you recommend for children around the cottage?
Children will especially enjoy the lake with its gradual entry from the sandy beach or jumping off the pier and having fun on paddleboards, inflatables, or boats. On the beach, they can build sandcastles; on the grounds, they can play football or racket ball games like beach tennis, ping pong, or badminton. In the pine forest, you can find boletus mushrooms as well as parasol and slippery jacks. The area around the lake offers beautiful cycling trips suitable for children. Nearby, there are also family attractions, children's playgrounds, Abeland in Lozorno, Bratislava Zoo, and more.
How far is the Lake Eden from the nearest swimming spot?
Lake Eden has its own access to the lake on a sandy beach and a private pier, so it is literally just a few meters from the cabin.
How far is the NAZOVUBOTOVANIA from the ski slope?
The nearest ski lift is at Pezinská Baba, about 30 km from the cabin, which is a 30-40 minute drive by car.
How does it work when checking in?
After confirming the reservation and payment for the stay, we will send guests all the necessary arrival information. On the day of arrival, we will contact them to arrange the handover of the cabin. Upon arrival, guests will be familiarized with the accommodation, cabin equipment, and we will be happy to answer any questions so they can fully enjoy their stay from the first moment.
When and how is accommodation paid for?
After confirming the reservation, payment details are sent to guests by email. Payment for the stay must be made by bank transfer within 48 hours of reservation confirmation. Once the payment is received, the reservation is bindingly confirmed and the guest will receive all the necessary information regarding their stay.
Can I drive directly to the accommodation in case of bad weather?
Yes, it is possible to access the parking lot directly on the property of the Lake Eden cabin in any weather.
