The Gothic church was built in 1320 on the site of an older 13th-century sanctuary. The church was reconstructed several times during the 14th and 15th centuries. Inside are remnants of Gothic wall paintings, frescoes of the Last Supper and Crucifixion. These paintings originated from Italian authors around 1350. Along the western wall is a wooden Protestant gallery from 1629 with a painted coffered parapet. The building also houses the funeral chapel of the Bebek family from the late 15th century. The chapel retains original stone windows with late Gothic tracery and a saddle portal with decorative spikes.
