In the village of Stará Bystrica, you will find a beautiful tourist attraction - the Slovak Astronomical Clock, located in the square at the town center. Its exterior decoration features statues of significant figures from our history, including Prince Pribina of Nitra, the Great Moravian ruler Svätopluk, nationalist and politician Anton Bernolák, Ľudovít Štúr, Milan Rastislav Štefánik, and Andrej Hlinka. Every full hour, you can see figurines of saints connected to the history of Slovakia, such as St. Cyril and Methodius, St. Svorad and Benedict, or St. Gorazd. The clock features an hour hand and an astrolabe, where you can observe the positions of the sun and moon, lunar phases, and zodiac signs. In the village of Stará Bystrica, you will find a beautiful tourist attraction - the Slovak Astronomical Clock, located in the square at the town center.
