Translated: Amazing romantic environment. The creek behind the cabin is perfect, and we really enjoyed fishing for trout in the small pond right by the cabin. The owner heated the cabin before arrival and provided firewood for the fireplace stove, so even though it rained the first day, it wasn’t a problem at all. The kids and we were thrilled. We also took trips around the area – an open-air museum, Strecno and Lietava. Of course, a big attraction for the kids was the cat Zuza, who would sit on the porch every day :)
Original (Czech): Uzasne romanticke prostredi. Potok za srubem nema chybu a moc jsme si uzili loveni pstruhu v malem jezirku hned u chaty. Pan majitel nam pred prijezdem chatu vytopil a poskytl drevo do krbovych kamen, takze i kdyz prvni den prselo, vubec to nebyl problem. Deti i my jsme byli nadseni. Navic jsme absolvovali vylety po okoli - skanzen, Strecno a Lietava. Samozrejme velka atrakce pro deti je i kocicka Zuza, ktera nam kazdy den vysedavala na zaprazi :)

There is plenty of parking space at the cottage for several cars. Kitchens are very nice, fully equipped, one even has a dishwasher. Original (Slovak): Zrub Montana sme vyuzili pocas firemneho teambuildingu. Pri vybere ubytovania sa nam zapacil hned na prvu pohlad a fotografie neklamali. Zrub je uzasny, izby su utulne, akurat na prespatie, vyuzivali sme najmä spolocenske miestnosti a kuchynu. Majitelia su velmi mili, ustretovi, cokolvek sme potrebovali, vybavili na pockanie. Pri chate je dostatok parkovacieho miesta aj pre viacero aut. Kuchyne su velmi pekne, komplet zariadene, v jednej je dokonca umyvacka riadu. Chata ako celok posobi velmi prijemnym dojmom a vsetci sme boli spokojni.
Sem tam nejaka nefunkcna roletka na izbe a na spojovacej chodbe na poschodi sa musi vyssi clovek trosku ohnut, ale nie je to nic tragicke, co by nejako kazilo celkovy dojem.

First of all, I want to express great thanks to the owner, a kind, willing, and accommodating gentleman; we've visited his chalet three times and his approach was always TOP! Nothing was missing at the chalet. It was beautifully cleaned, tidy, and we had everything we needed; he even lent us a cauldron until the end to cook goulash outside. So I don't believe any guest had a problem with this gentleman. Maybe only those who came to the chalet to watch TV, lounge on the luxury sofa, and make toasts :D For them, I recommend Kempinski in the Tatras, not the Oregon chalet. Because this is exactly how a chalet should look. A kitchen where the whole family and friends can cook, eat together at a beautiful massive wooden large table, admire the wonderful nature and surroundings, and relax together in beautiful rooms where there's definitely enough space for everything. For me, clearly the best chalet! We will definitely return.
Original (Slovak): Chcela by som sa vyjadriť k nášmu ubytovaniu na chate OREGON. V prvom rade by som chcela prejaviť veľkú vďaku majiteľovi ktorí je jeden milý, ochotný, ústretový pán a jeho chatu sme navštívili po 3-krát a vždy bol jeho prístup TOP! Na chate nám nič nechýbalo. Bola krásne uprataná, čistá a k dispozícií sme mali všetko potrebné ešte nám aj do konca zapožičal kotlík v ktorom sme si mohli navariť guláš vonku. Takže neverím, že s týmto pánom mal nejaký ubytovaný hosť problém. Iba ak možno človek ktorí prišiel na chatu pozerať telku vyvaľovať sa na luxusnom gauči a robiť si toasty :D Takému odporúčam Kempinski v Tatrách a nie chatu Oregon. Lebo presne takto má chata vyzerať. Kuchyňa v ktorej si navarí celá rodina aj priatelia, spoločne sa najedia pri nádhernom masívnom drevenom veľkom stole, pokochajú sa nádhernou prírodou a okolím, a spoločne si oddýchnu v krásnych izbách kde je rozhodne dostatok miesta pre všetko. Za mňa jednoznačne najlepšia chata! a určite sa vrátime.

Beautiful nature
Oregon cabin is actually for 6 adults + max 3 children! Enough beds but limited other space. At the entrance, there is nowhere to put shoes and coats. Small, dilapidated kitchen without a toaster and proper glasses, connected to a tiny living room with a worn-down sofa right down to the foam and a pillar in the middle. Also, the TV has only 2 channels and there is only one battery in the remote. Tiny bathroom without hooks or shelves as if forgotten to be fully furnished. We bought toilet paper ourselves and towels were also not available. The second bathroom on the ground floor was not heated at all and also looked unfinished, I could have thrown my towel on the floor, so it couldn't be used. Lower rooms each have 4 beds, a double bed downstairs and a double bed on a construction about 2 meters high accessible by ladder. None of the rooms had a nightstand or any small table. Storage space was also very poor. We found a few Tesco hangers. One room had a window with a missing curtain. The large upper room had no way to close off and was basically just a room with beds and nothing else. No tables, wardrobes, nothing. Every handle, every doorknob wobbled as if everything was about to fall apart. Lighting was inadequate. Heating was also not optimal, hot in the rooms, cold in the living room. I didn't feel outright dirt but it could have been cleaner. The location is good. You can shop on foot or go to a restaurant. Beautiful nature just behind the cabin. This cabin looks pretty only from the outside, when you look at the details, it makes you sad how much you paid for it.

Chata Oregon je v skutocnosti pre 6 dospelych ludi + 3 deti maximalne! Posteli dost, ale ostatneho miesta malo. Pri vstupe nieto kam odlozit obuv a kabaty. Mala, rozpadajuca sa kuchynka bez toastera a bez poriadnych poharov spojena s malickou obyvackou so zosuchanym gaucom az po molitan a stlpom v strede. K tomu televizor len s 2 programami a iba jedna bateria v ovladaci. Kupelna malicka bez vesiakov, policiek akoby zabudli dozariadovat. Toaletak sme si sami kupili a uteraky tiez neboli k dispozicii. Druha kupelna tiez na prizemi tam sa vobec nekurilo a tiez vyzerala ako nedokoncena, uterak som si mohol hodit na zem, takze sa ani nedala vyuzit. Dolne izby, kazda po 4 postele, manzelska dole a manzelska na konstrukcii asi vo vyske 2 metrov po rebriku. Ani jedna izba nemala ani nocny stolik ani ziaden stolcek. Ulozne priestory tak isto na zaplakanie. Nasli sme par Tesco vesiakov. V jednej izbe na okne chybal zaves uplne. Horna velka izba bez moznosti uzavriet je vlastne len miestnost s postelami a nicim inym. Ziadne stoliky, skrine, nic. Kazde madlo, kazda rukovat, kazda klucka sa kyve akoby sa vsetko chcelo uz uz rozpadnut. Lampy a osvetlenie je tak isto nedostatocne. Kurenie tiez nie optimalne, v izbach horuco, v obyvacke zima. Nemal som pocit vyslovenej spiny, ale dalo by sa aj cistejsie. Lokalita je dobra. Aj peso si clovek nakupi, pripadne skoci do restauracie. Krasna priroda hned za chatou. Tato chata je pekna len z vonku, ked sa clovek pozrie na detaily, pride mu smutno kolko za to zaplatil.
