The originally Gothic castle was reconstructed into a Baroque-Renaissance chateau in the 17th century. It belonged to the Koháry family, later to the Coburg family. It is characterized by its large collection of hunting exhibits, complemented by various paintings, photographs, and weapons. The so-called Golden Salon of Marie Antoinette, the wife of the French king, who received it as a wedding gift, is also attractive. The premises include an extensive park with a unique sequoia, which was planted in 1878.
