The Roman Catholic church in Rajec was first mentioned in 1368. Initially, it was just a Gothic sanctuary and later underwent Renaissance and Baroque modifications. The lower part of the tower and the surrounding walls with a late Gothic portal remain from the original structure. On the southern side of the church, there are sundials from 1770. The altar painting by J. Zanussi from 1777 depicts St. Ladislaus kneeling before the Mother of God. The church contains 3 crypts: Kostkovská, Lengyelovská, and Huljakovská.
