City Museum Sered was created on the initiative of the city and was opened to the public on December 15, 2004. A former Roman Catholic parish, now known as Fándlyho rectory. The founder of the City Museum is Sered and operated by House of Culture and Civic Association Water Castle in Sered. The museum has three permanent exhibitions: Prehistory Seredská region, water castle Šintava, pictures Gone time - a permanent exhibition of historical postcards Sered turns It also temporary exhibitions. It includes conserved basic pillars of the defunct medieval church from the 14th century. In the summer there are concerts of chamber and jazz music in the open air.
