services at the guesthouse did not all work as stated on the internet, for example, the restaurant was not open outside of breakfast and dinner times, so during the day we couldn’t even buy coffee or a soft drink... it was completely dead there in the evenings, we had to buy something during the day to have for the evening so as not to sit in the garden empty-handed, they also did not serve non-resident guests; several people stopped by for coffee and a drink and left disappointed that it was closed, it was awkward.
Many things listed online did not work at all, for example, the climbing wall was not accessible, the sauna was turned off, not all machines in the gym worked, etc.
It seemed to us that the guesthouse was neglected - for example, the shower by the outdoor pool did not work, chair and armchair cushions were dirty, the seating was fairly worn out, the doors to the terrace from the indoor pool couldn’t be opened and it was too stuffy, to get into the yard garden we had to go out and cross the street in front of the guesthouse to get back in.
The room was nothing special, slightly neglected
and the photos on the internet make everything look better and the description does not correspond to reality,
It was also strange that after dinner there was no staff at all, the guests stayed alone there, I don’t know what would have happened if something like a fire occurred, etc.
There is nothing to see in Kraľovany
There are more options in the region but you have to go further by car, for example Orava Castle, Brankovský waterfall, Vlkolínec, Likava Castle is closed for reconstruction. I do not recommend Šútovo Lake, there was dirt, bad smell, trash, etc...

služby v penzióne nefungovali všetky tak, ako bolo uvedené na internete, napr. reštaurácia nebola otvorená mimo času podávania raňajok a večere, takže sme si počas dňa nemali ani kde kúpiť kávu alebo malinovku... , bolo to tam aj po večeroch úplne mrtve, museli sme si nakúpiť cez deň niečo na večer, aby sme v záhrade nesedeli naprázdno, tiež neobsluhovali neubytovaných hostí , zastavilo sa tam viac ľudí na kávu a napiť sa a odišli sklamaní, že je zavreté, bolo to trápne.

zdalo sa nám , že je penzión zanedbaný - napr. nefungovala sprcha pri vonkajšom bazéne, boli špinavé sedáky na stoličkách a kreslách, sedenie pomerne zničené, dvere na terasu z vnútorného bazéna sa nedali otvoriť a bolo tam príliš dusno, na dvor do záhrady sme sa vedeli dostať len tak, že sme museli vyjsť von a prejsť cez ulicu popred penzión a tak naspäť.

V regióne je viac možností, ale treba ísť ďalej napr. autom - Oravský hrad, Brankovský vodopád, Vlkolínec, Likavský hrad je v rekonštrukcii zavretý. Šútovské jazero neodporúčam, bola tam špina a smrad, odpadky a pod...

All this together with the impression of the Šútovo waterfall and the sunlit Chalet under Chleb, left me with a pleasant impression of the small village Kraľovany and its surroundings.
