Bobrovecká lakes Zuberec
At the end of the western Tatras' Bobrovecká Valley, known as Poľana, you will find a group of so-called Bobrovecké tarns. This group consists of the large Biely Bobrovecké tarn and smaller, drying up in dry periods, Čierny and Malý Bobrovecké tarn. Around the tarns, there is a marked hiking trail that leads to the saddle of Pálenica and further along the main ridge of the Western Tatras. The starting points to the Bobrovecké tarns can be the villages of Jalovec or Zuberec.
