Mansion in Tonkovce Čenkovce

On the outskirts of the village of Tonkovce, in the local part of Nový Život, there is an English park that boasts a cultural monument – a chateau, which was originally a Baroque chateau from the 18th century. In the 19th century, it was rebuilt in the style of romantic historicism. In the past, it was owned by well-known families such as the Pálffys and the Erdődys. Previously, the chateau was used for purposes that did not benefit the chateau – for example, as storage. Over time, it fell into disrepair and was on the brink of extinction. It was then purchased by billionaire Zoroslav Kollár, who had it renovated and transformed it back into a luxurious residence. The interiors of the chateau are not open to the public. On the outskirts of the village of Tonkovce, in the local part of Nový Život, there is an English park that boasts a cultural monument – a chateau, which was originally a Baroque chateau from the 18th century.
