Brezovica Ski Center Brezovica (district Tvrdošín)
The charming village of Brezovica nestled under the panorama of the Skorušinské Hills in the Tvrdošín district offers its visitors a quality ski resort during the winter season, located approximately two kilometers from the village. The Brezovica Ski Center is situated at an altitude of 755 to 942 meters above sea level and has two lifts that transport 1,000 people per hour. For winter sports enthusiasts, the resort features six ski runs, with a total length of 4.5 km. Experienced skiers will appreciate the first run, which has a higher difficulty level and a maximum gradient of 45°, while run number 3 is ideal for beginners and families with children. The individual slopes are artificially snowed and maintained daily in good condition. If you enjoy cross-country skiing, there is a route available within the area that goes over Ostrý vrch to the top of Skorušina, which is adorned with a 12-meter tall observation tower providing impressive views of the Upper Orava region.
