On the site where the evangelical church now stands, there was a Romanesque rotunda in the 13th century. In the 18th century, the rotunda was converted into a church. From the original building, the Romanesque entrance to the sacristy, a Romanesque pillar inside the sacristy, and the pastophorium have been preserved. An interesting element of the interior is the wooden choir, supported by intricately carved wooden columns.
