The church under Šenderová Vinné
Above Zemplínska Šírava in the village of Vinné rises the mountain massif Senderov - St. Andrew. Here you will find an interesting cultural monument: the exposed architectural remains of an ancient chapel built in the 11th - 12th centuries. This chapel was dedicated to the Holy Cross and was situated in the middle of forests inhabited by hermits. In the 14th century, the building was abandoned and later disappeared. Today, this place is one of the local tourist attractions. You can reach it via a trail from the village of Vinné or from Zemplínska Šírava. There is an information board with a wooden cross by the preserved chapel remains.Read on
