Lutheran Church - Ladzany

On the site where the evangelical church now stands, there was a Romanesque rotunda in the 13th century. In the 18th century, the rotunda was converted into a church. From the original building, the Romanesque entrance to the sacristy, a Romanesque pillar inside the sacristy, and the pastophorium have been preserved. An interesting element of the interior is the wooden choir, supported by intricately carved wooden columns. The painting at the center of the altar depicts Christ with a crown of thorns along with the statement of Pontius Pilate, 'Ecce Homo.'On the site where the evangelical church now stands, there was a Romanesque rotunda in the 13th century.
