Krásnohorská Cave Krásnohorská Dlhá Lúka
Under the name Krásnohorská Cave lies a national natural monument tucked away near the village of Krásnohorská Dlhá Lúka in the district of Rožňava. The cave, located in the captivating environment of the Slovak Paradise National Park, is accessible to tourists; however, the visit must be undertaken in full caving gear and in the company of experienced guides. It is truly a unique experience that children older than six can enjoy in the company of their parents. The trail is 450 meters long, features varied terrain, requires sturdy footwear, and passes over benches, ladders, and ropes. A highlight of the cave is the over 30 m high drippings of Rožňava cavers, among the tallest in the world. The tour starts at the Jozefína guesthouse, continues along an educational path to the cave, and can be undertaken in the summer season with entries at 10:00 and 13:00 or outside the season by appointment.Read on
