Synagogue Brezne Brezno

In the broader center of Brezno, there is a Jewish synagogue, the only Jewish monument in Horehronie. It was built at the beginning of the 20th century and after the deportation of Jews during World War II, it ceased to serve its original purpose and was used as a granary and furniture storage. The synagogue, which has high architectural value, features Oriental elements. The building has a large onion-shaped dome. Today, there is a museum exhibition “From the History of the Jewish Community in Brezno.”In the broader center of Brezno, there is a Jewish synagogue, the only Jewish monument in Horehronie.
