Asphalt lake Strečno
Asphalt lake is situated near Nezbudská Luck, which is located in the village Varin. This is not a real black bubbling asphalt lake, but interesting turquoise lake, which was created when the flooded abandoned quarry asphalt, which was the only quarry for the extraction of natural asphalt in Europe.
